“Fero, Fero, wake up, wake up”
“Why? Go away”
Fero was too tired to get up and see what Desha wanted so he tried to make her go away but to no prevail.
“Wake up. You know how the Immortals get when you’re late to see them.”
“Uhh. Fine, leave me so I can get dressed.”
She looked at him kind weird but eventually left without asking questions. He didn’t want her to see him get out of bed because he was up late last night hunting and got a few scraps, but knowing her she would make a big deal out of it. He got out of his pathetic excuse of a bed and walked around his little bed room to my water bowl and washed my face. He looked at himself in the mirror and noticed the few scratches were a lot bigger and deeper than he remember. He’ll just have to remember not take his shirt off around her. He quickly got dressed and ran out the room and almost into Desha. She was standing out side of his room waiting for him.
“Are you finally ready?” she asked with a smirk on her face.
“Yes, how long have you been up?” he asked as he looked at her she was fully dressed and ready to go.
“I’ve been up since dawn as a matter of fact, I also saw you come in just after I got up.”
Busted.
“So where did you go last night?” she asked
“We’re late we must hurry if we are to make it on time”
He said trying to distract her.
“Fine don’t answer me”
“I won’t, now let’s hurry” he said as they ran out the house.
They ran most of the way to meet the Immortals but slowed down when they got into the main part of town.
“Come on Fero she’s never noticed you before, today’s not going to be the day she notices you” Desha said without looking at him to see why they had slowed down.
“You never know, today could be the day” He said back to her not taking his eyes off the pub. He was debating on whether he should go inside or not.
“We’re late now come on,” Desha said as if reading his mind “you can go in later when we are done with the Immortals.”
“Who made you the boss? Last I checked I was still your teacher.” He asked getting annoyed.
She simply smiled and replied “Well when the teacher is to lazy to get up and go to the appointment set by the Immortals themselves, the student must take over and control the situation.”
“You came up with that rather fast,” but he knew she was right and they must hurry.
