Re-submitting this character. Mainly changing the lay-out of the profile and the character's history. Here (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?p=35804#post35804) is a link to the old profile.

Name: Hubert Oliver-Walter Loe " Huey "

Age: 19

Race: Human

Gender: Male

Height: 5' 10"

Weight: 137 lbs

Hair Color: Pale Blonde

Eye Color: Auburn

Alignment: Neutral

Appearance: Huey is a sad sight to behold. His face seems to have been molded to forever display sorrow. His body is thin, almost frail in appearance. His hair is wildly unkempt, spiking outward in all directions. His sad, brown eyes are obfuscated behind his box frame glasses, which are not in the fairest condition.

Personality: Huey is a very quiet- well, usually a very quiet young man. He keeps almost entirely to himself, and usually only attempts to communicate with someone when he is in dire need, or when they address him first. He is easily frightened, a coward at best, and usually tries to avoid confrontation; not because he fears for himself, but simply because he doesn't want to hurt anyone...else. .

Clothes:

Head/Neck - Only his glasses, and a red plaid scarf..

Torso - Huey wears a tight-fitting, white cotton t-shirt. Over this he wears a black, white pin-striped zip-up hoody.

Arms/Hands - On the back of both of his hands, Huey has matching tattoos. Each is nothing but a bold, black equal sign.

Legs/feet - Huey wears a pair of dark, tattered blue jeans, which are secured by a simple leather belt. On his feet, he wears a pair of cotton socks and a pair of brown work boots.

Skills/Abilities:

Ten Thousand Voices: Huey was born with abnormal vocal cords, as well as ear drums. His vocal cords, for thus far, unexplained reasons, project sound up to ten times greater than a normal human being. Because of this, Huey is forced to whisper when he wants to speak to someone, lest he destroy their ear drums. Whenever his voice begins to amplify itself, a sponge-like material quickly generates within his ear, surrounding his ear drums. This material protects his own ears from damage. The strange material dissolves shortly after Huey's voice is amplified. Apart from simply speaking very, very loudly, Huey's genetic defect can be focus into three distinct abilities.

Sonic Boom - Huey able to amplify his voice into a projectile weapon, focusing the sound forward into a cone effect. This ability is more potent at close range, having the potential to destroy a person's hearing permanently, and in some cases, kill them. Similar effects can be felt from varying ranges, each to a lesser degree depending upon a person's distance from the blast. From temporary deafness, to varying degrees of discomfort. Also, most people will be knocked to the ground if hit directly by the sonic boom. [Above Average] The lethality of sonic boom is at the discretion of the PC it is being used against. I.e. It can only kill a PC with their permission.

Nullifier - Huey is able to project a low frequency sound wave that cancels out all other frequencies, causing complete silence within a twenty yard radius. This ability only lasts as long as the air in Hueys lungs.

Screech - Huey is also able to scream at an extremely high frequency, high enough to shatter glass. All people within ten feet can be temporarily deafened by the sound. All others within hearing range will experience extreme discomfort. [Average]

[B]History: From the very moment he left his mothers womb, Hueys life has been consumed by guilt. Normally a crying baby is nothing too serious, but when you get as loud as Huey did, people get hurt- people die. His childhood was spent in complete isolation. The orphanage that he had been placed in after the death of both his parents kept him locked in a sound proof room. He was not aloud to play with the other children. He could only leave the room when the other children were away on field trips and even then they made him wear a mussel. On the bright side, he could never hear when the other children made jokes about him.

His teen years were no better. He no longer had to wear the mussel, but he was still not aloud to interact with others, with the exception of those put in charge of his well-being. He would not experience any form of freedom until his nineteenth year of life.

It was winter. Hueys birthday had passed only a month ago, though he would enjoy no gifts from the occasion. He had been spending the day as he usually did, scribbling on paper with charcoal and colored chalk, when he felt a rumble that shook his entire room. His ever wavering eyes peered out of the tiny, sound-proof window that acted as his only view of the outside world. What he saw was, for the most part, confusing. The tiny town in which he lived was in flames. He could see dark figures moving in and out of the fires orange glow, but couldn't make out what was happening.

The sound of opening locks turned his attention away from the window. His eyes locked onto his thick, steel door. Slowly, he backed himself into a corner, unsure of who was trying to get into his room. One by one the locks opened, until all five were undone. The door creaked open slowly, and the form of two unfamiliar men became clear. The one that had opened the door had his head turned facing the other.

" This has gotta' be it. Why else would they have this huge friggin' door, if not to keep all their donation money inside? "

They were bandits. The town had been raided. It seemed they had come to the orphanage to salvage what little donation money it had received. Huey was sure that all the children, as well as the adults in charge were dead. When the two bandits saw nothing but a young man standing in an empty, white room, their tempers flared.

" What the- what the hell is this? Wheres the gold!? "

The larger of the two turned his attention to Huey.

" Hey! Kid! What is all this? Where's the cash? Talk! Now! "

Huey simply stared blankly at the two men. He couldn't speak, if he did, he would hurt them.

" Look at em' Kaid, he can't even talk he's so scared. Let's just be done with em' and keep lookin'. "

" Fine. Let's make it quick though, I want that money now. "

With that, both men began approaching Huey, their blades held tightly, ready to cut him to pieces. Huey began to tremble, whimpering as he did so. As they grew closer, his lips parted as words began to squeeze out in the form of a frightened whisper.

" L-leave me alone.."

" Heh? What's that boy? You hear what he said Kaid? "

" No idea. Let's just kill em'. "

Huey's breathing grew faster, and faster until he was nearly hyper-ventilating. He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth. He knew he was going to die. They were going to kill him, and that would be it. But he was scared, he couldn't contain himself any longer. Huey filled his lungs, and in just three words, let out nineteen years worth of pain.

" LEAVE ME ALOOONE!! "

Hueys voice boomed louder than it ever had before. Instantly, tiny squirts of blood exploded out of the bandits' ears. Their eardrums were gone. Shortly following, their bodies sailed across the room, colliding with the cushioned walls that lined it. They were dead- killed by extraordinary amount of brain trauma, but still Huey screamed. He had saved himself, and was safe for the moment, but still he screamed. He screamed for his mother, for his father, for nineteen years of pain, he screamed.

The rest of the bandits in the town were frightened away by the ominous sound of Huey's wailing. They assumed the small town was haunted. When Huey's voice became hoarse and he could no longer scream, he began to wander. Since that day he has not stopped wandering. He doesn't know where to go, or what to do with himself. His entire existence was just that, existence. Now...now maybe he could find a purpose.

Sonic Boom is much too powerful. Seems there'd be little defense against that sort of thing. Eliminate the potential to kill, at the very least.

Edited so that the lethality is up to the PC it is used against.
