I remember a time when these were pretty popular, so mostly out of boredom I decided to take a whirl at bringing back the fad.

The way this works is I post links to a bunch of recent quests, and anyone who feels like it can glance at/read them and post constructive criticism. I get a lot of great feedback from the judges, but different people spot different things, and it's always nice to know what people think of my work. It's also a pretty shameless way of publicizing my threads, but what the hell.

In addition to my more recent quests, I'll also provide a link to the first quest I wrote on this account, in case anyone is interested in reading Josh as a longwinded n00b.

My main goal with all my writing is to make it a good read, so I hope anyone who decides to take me up on this enjoys themself. Thanks!

There isn't much I can say besides the fact that you are talented. I've written with you as well as having the pleasure to read something of yours that I wasn't in. First-person writing isn't really my place, but you seemed to pull it off. It's cool that you can switch between the two mediums, I tried but it was tough. As for third person, I'm still reading some of your third person stuff, so I don't want too get much into criticism because quite frankly, a cat can't call on a bear for being weak, can it?

Keep up the good work is all I can say as of now, because I've only just started to read a couple of things. I think you've improved substantially since your n00b times though, definitely.

When I finish reading things in depth, I'll post some harmless comments. But in the meanwhile, check out my solo in progress. It's in the sig.

Before anyone does, I'll have to explain that my new character doesn't speak at all, physically or mentally. He doesn't have any internal thoughts, as far as the reader knows. I am trying this to improve on several aspects of my writing, such as persona and action, while also just trying out a unique character. In due time, I'll make it so that he can verbalize his intentions, but not for a while. (oooh spoiler!)

Enjoy.
