Race (Ascender): Little is known about this race, no knows how they came into being only that they exist, some Scholars and Mages believe that Ascenders are almost like a Demi-Gods or beings of dark power but this is a lie. The truth is the Ascenders are a race that comes from the realm of Ether the place where most magical spirits are born, most of the time they live in peace and harmony with all living spirits. Most Ascenders can live for centuries before there spirit returns to the Source only to be reborn again. Some Ascenders have learned to use a special ability that allows them to be reborn but keep their original appearance, some things would change but note they would be stronger then before, this is called the Awaking.
Although the Realm of Ether is inaccessible from any part of the human world but there is a small gate, which leads to their realm. This holy place named the Temple of Eternal, there is secret gate allows passage for all Ascenders into the human world. The Temple has a large library, which holds all past knowledge of the Ascenders and other races. The only safe way to protect the Temple and the gate is to keep the temple out of reach, so the Temple is high in the sky protected by the Heavens. The Ascenders believe in peace in all forms and won’t fight unless they’re provoked, the Ascenders lead by 5 people who they call the Elders of Ether. These Ascenders all have special and unique abilities and most of them have lasted for over 3000 years.
Personality: Clay is a bold person and has strong sense of justice but Clay has little time for chitchat and would rather continue his travels. Clay keeps to himself and has fully accepted who he is and where he comes, Clay prefers to walk away from a fight but when does fight he doesn’t waste time. Many people think that he looks 18 and think he is easy target but they greatly underestimate Clay’s abilities and this really bugs Clay that they pick on him because of the way looks. Clay has lived over a dozen lifetimes and he is still young in the eyes of the Ascender Elders.
Appearance: Clay has medium dark blue hair, he has silver studs in his left ear. He wears an medium sized jacket the jacket has no sleeves. Clay wears black fingerless gloves, on the left arm he wears wrist gauntlet. On the gauntlet is small hole that holds the purple sword orb. Around the waist is where the jacket stops, just above where the jacket stops is large black belt with silver square belt buckle. From the black belt come several black tassels that circle around the hip. At the bottom of each tassel are small chains, which are connected to an extra piece of clothing which reaches down to his feet.
Clay wears baggy trousers, which stop at just below the knees, there his metal shin guards start and they reach down to ankle from there Clay wears his black boots.
History: Like any other Ascender Clay was born in the Realm of Ether, when he reached the age of 6 he was enrolled into the Sanctuary, a place where all young Ascenders go to learn about their existence. The Sanctuary was like a school, they were taught everything they needed to know, how to survive in the Human world, but Clay was an outcast there. Clay kept to himself and never interacted with any one so he hardly had any friends these were most dreadful years of his life, Clay felt alone so he decided that he never had friends so he would just live without them.
When Clay reached maturity some of his latent Ascender abilities awoke within him but somehow he was much stronger for his age. He was stronger then even some of the older Ascenders, Clay couldn’t understand what was happening to him. One of the abilities that Clay obtained was the Awaking Clay was able to transform into his Reborn state. Confused by his new powers Clay sought answers from the Ancient library, he found that every 3000 years a warrior with unexplainable power is born. No knows why this happens only that this person has a destiny to fight an ancient and terrible evil.
With this new knowledge Clay got a clearer image of what he had to, he returned his father and tried to explain everything. Clay’s father could understand what his son had to do he gave Clay a purple orb which holds a powerful inside. Clay equipped the orb into his gauntlet and suddenly a black sheath appeared in Clay’s hand, the sheath holds a Katana sword from the Parallel Plane Clay was now able to wield this magical sword that had belonged in his family for generations. Clay packed everything that he could and left for the Gate to the Human world, Clay took a deep breath and walked for the watery Gate.
When he entered the other side he was at the Temple of Eternal, now away from his home and family Clay walked towards a rounding, floating disc. He stepped on it and was instantaneously teleported down to the Human world below, Clay was now ready to find his purpose and so he set out on his travels.
Skills
Illusion Strike: Using the power of the Katana sword Clay creates 2 copies of himself and then he rushes at the enemy, this confuses the enemy as they try to work out who is the real Clay. By the time the opponent realizes which one is real Clay has already struck them with several slashes. The copies move around the opponet and daze them, both copies only last 30 seconds.
Burning Sky: This spell allows Clay call forth fireball in his hand, from this the spell has many abilities. The spell can be used for light source for dark areas or it can be used as form of attack, if used as attack spell Clay can charge up the energy and increase the size of the fireball.
Full Moon Slash: Clay calls up the power Lunar moon and empowers Clay’s sword with Lunar energy, Clay then unleashes this as magical slash that cuts through the enemy and with time Clay will able to increase the number of magical slashes. The attack burns the opponent for 20 seconds.The problem with his technique is takes a while for Clay to call forth the lunar energy into his sword.
Awaking: This allows Clay to awaken his latent Ascender abilities, Clay transformers into Heavenly Warrior, his clothing changes into white steel armor, Clay starts to glow in powerful white aura. In this form Clay is faster and stronger but also the skill is stilling growing and with experience and time Clay will able to fully awaken his powers. Clay can only stay in this form for 2 minutes or if he runs out of energy or is killed, if Clay is killed or uses up all the energy he just reverts back to his original form with low energy and he would need time to recharge.
Awaking Skills
Avalon: This is a powerful magic spell, Clay concentrates his Ascender energy four spots then Clay calls one fiery tornadoe which circled around Clay. If the opponent is caught in the blast some serious damage is dealt, but is spell requires an immense amount of energy to use and if Clay uses it he automatically reverts back to his original form.
Ascender’s Fury: This is another powerful move, using his Samurai sword Clay rushes to his opponent and performs a selection of wild slashes. Each attack is infused with the Ancient Spirit energy of the Ascenders, the energy infused into the sword is pure light energy, if Clay misses the attack the energy in the sword will disappear.
Equipment:
Katana Sword: A magical sword which is made of steel, the sword stored in magical purple orb, the orb is stored on Clay’s left gauntlet. The sword can only be summon by Clay, the sword appears in Clay’s hand as a black sheath with the sword still inside. When Clay is finished the sword returns back into the orb and back to Parallel plane.
Shishi-Oh Samurai Sword (Only in Awaking Form): When Clay transforms into his Reborn form he gains this Samurai sword, the sword is much longer and strikes fear into those who dare challenge Clay. Although Clay lasts in his Awaking form for short time he can still use the essence of the sword to perform powerful slashes.
Healing Potion (5): Although Clay has superior strength he is not immortal and he would healing from his wounds so he carries 5 potions that slightly heal him.
