*Personality:Meru LOVES fun and in that aspect she's very silly and not to careful with what she does. She's very kind and open, loves meeting new people, but if you ask her to let you into her heart and trust you, that's where she can be very serious and has a more difficult aspect of being with people.
Appearance:Meru has long platinum hair held up in a ponytail. She wears dragoon armor which is all encarved with magical crests. These compose of a jeweled headband. Very light covering body armor (she likes to dance). Her color theme is blue. Also her shoes have heels and she arm armor going into gloves. She has two blue wings on her back. (You can see this on my avatar)
History: Meru was originally a creature called a wingly. Which live in forests or floating cities sedcluded from everywhere else, they abhor humans and avoid all contact with them whenever possible. Wingly's have to wings of light on there back that they can just as easily hide and have strong magical ability, every wingly has platinum hair. They also keep magical mysteries and several sacred treasures.
Meru grew to be unfond of the winglys and their methods and one day, chose to leave her forest, into the human world. Her friend called to her "Meru, don't go! If you do you can never return!" Her parents and village elder all told her the same, but she didn't care, she hated the way winglys were, she was that oddball in school who always asked "Why can't we be with humans? What's wrong with them?"
Upon exiting, a powerful magician of the winglys told her "Meru, you cannot leave with our secrets and magics, I am sorry it must be this way" she began running through the forest and stumbled onto a magical altar, it had runes on it she'd never seen before...but for some reason, could understand! She read them aloud and was brought 11,000 years into the past, where she was reborn.
She was reborn to the dragoons, they loved her and cared for her in the great calm world they lived in, and when her day of choosing came, she followed the path of the dragoon of water. She donned a large hammer and continued to live her life with great pride. But for some reason, she could never shake this feeling that she couldnt remember something.... All too soon a terrible war broke out, killing many humans, dragons, dragoons... and winglys... She could only wonder, and returned to the forest once hers. 11,000 years later, barely surviving the horrible war.
She remembered nothing, and was in much trouble being there.... But everyone said "You disappeared yesterday!" however, her returning to the village was a taboo. She attempted to escape but was incarserated and had to find another way out, in the struggle, she took several wingly treasures.
Now, she roams the world trying to make a living for herself and find out who she truely is.
Skills: Meru is the dragoon of water, so in retrospect, she has very keen skills over water and ice. Besides being able to manipulate the forces of water and ice to her bidding,also she can use the power of water for healing, she has some specifically outlined powers. Freezing Ring - Swirls a ring of ice shards around her and fires them at her target. Rainbow Breath - Calls a rain of water and the shine of a rainbow to heal all her allies. Diamond Dust - Freezes target in large crystal, then uses blade of ice to shatter the crystal. Water Shield - can swirl aqua around her at a high speed then freeze it into a powerful shield, only her, and creatures with resistance to permafrost and cold can survive the shield. Blue Sea Dragon Summoning - Summons dragon of water temporarily to do her bidding.
Equipment: She has a large hammer made of stone, her primary weapon. Her secondary weapon(s) is two blades that are half circles. She also carries, the moon dagger which can activate powerful spells, the dragon block staff, which can make dragons useless but has a large recharge time, the moon gem, which can be used for teleportation when it's really necessary, and several herbs and medecines she made herself... just be careful, this IS Meru we're talking about. She also has the moon mirror...with powers unknown
*Familiars: It isn't so much of a familiar but Meru has an alter ego, a girl who is strong, serious, and unafraid, when Meru is not... she's there to help Meru, but also to find her own body that she was spirited away from. Her name is Tia.
