Alright. I'm the type of person who likes to get one thing done before starting another, but the speed of the threads these days has got me thinking I can revoke that restriction upon myself.
I'd like to do a quest, or a couple of quests/battles. Something fast moving, exciting, nerve grinding and teeth chattering. Something to inspire me to get off my lazy ass and write the next chapter of Vincent's story, for all I have so far is a wandering swordsman with a short fuse and a psychotic lust for blood.

Anyone have any suggestions, or ideas? Please, hit me up. Pun intended.

Are you up for maybe, like, an awesome battle?

Winterhair

My character's a psycho who lives for nothing but an awesome battle. Of course! Where do you want it?

Yays! Psycho vs. robot!
Oh I dunno. Anywhere is fine. I can have Shads journey on over to the Citadel if ya want.

The Citadel is perfectly fine with me. I'd prefer it if you wrote it, i'm not so sure I'd pick a good starting place. :P

This one is available to be around
for any sort of psycho showdown.

Oooh. I know you.
Words like blades, serenade
And the darkness seems it too.

:D I know i'll lose against you, but I'd love to have a fight against your character. I've heard many things about you, and I feel our fight will be quite...psychotic. Wow, that was original.
I'll keep you two posted.

I'll gladly start it up. Keep an eye out for the thread, it's link will probably reach by PM. :p

And I can definitely see a battle between Vincent and that poet full of a very psychotic kind of WIN.

Alright. I shall await it then.
FTW indeed.

The Writing Writer

Shall I begin it, or shall you?

Winterhair

I'll begin it, for I first have to finish up this one battle with Yukina. Once its up, I'll send you the link.

Edit: Where would you like to hold this battle? I was thinking, actually, it could happen within a quest, like may haps your character sees mine as prey or something else. *shrugs* I don't know, I'm still juggling ideas around like a clown on cocaine. Also that, and I want to gain some decent exp, for I know if we fought in the Citadel I would lose. Just because of the fact that you most likely have more writing experience than I, and are more familiar with your character.

But I would enjoy a battle with you, in the Citadel or not. :)

If you're not too busy, fellow FMA fan, I wouldn't mind doing something with you in the future. It'd be nice seeing how Aomi would react to someone like Vincent, who lives for battle.

I don't have any ideas though, but maybe I'll think of one and maybe even make a thread. Or maybe we'll wait, if you're busy.

If you get an idea, just make the thread and I'll get along to it when I get the chance. :) I'm a pretty fast typer, so thats fairly often.

Double posting to revive this thread.

I finished the battle with Yukina; I have also finished the battle with Nautilus. Both await judging. I am almost finished with a battle with the Bloody Son.

I am in the middle of these threads:

Set me free: Cry of the Kelpie--with Veatrix and the Sweetest Thing. However, the ST has yet to post again, so... :\ But time can be taken.

The Burning: My solo, so blegh.

And said battle w/ the Bloody Son.

I don't know if the Writing Writer still wishes to duel or not, and it seems the Soldier of Fortune has disappeared from the place completely, sooooooo...if anyone wishes to quest with me, go ahead and send me an idea or something. I'd rather stay away from the Citadel if at all possible, but if you reeeeeaaaaalllllllyyyyy want to fight me there, I'm sure I can figure out something.

Anyways, in other words, I'm open to questing.

I'm down for questing. Farealsonwerd.

Any prior ideas, or do you want me to make one?

I'll leave the wheeling and dealing to you.

Writing Writer: Where is your character currently located? I need to know if I need to liquid time for this idea in my head or not.

The Writing Writer

I pretty much disregard the whole current location thing and always use liquid time.

Alright. The idea I had was this.

Your character and mine are somehow captured by slave traders, who are seeking young strong men to do some sort of hard labor in Alerar. Jacob and Vincent are put in the same "cage", along with a few others, and the main premise is that we break out and try to escape. Of course, we all separate and go in different directions, but for some reason Jacob and Vincent meet up later and are forced to fight their way out of getting capture again.

Thats just an overview, but you get the general idea. Any other ideas you have or would like to add to it?

The Writing Writer

I think it has merit. It'd probably be better if the thread was just us spending a few days formulating a plan to escape and then doing so, rather than meeting up afterwards. I don't want it to be rushed though. THe first post shouldn't be " So, how you wanna get outta here? " Na mean?

I was thinking the same thing. Do you want a set group of NPC's as fellow "jailmates" or are we just going to make up some on the go?

The Writing Writer

Jacob's not one for socializing with anyone he doesn't have to. So up to you I guess.

Winterhair

Alright. There's going to be five of us total in one "cage". There will be you and I, and three NPC's.

-Another young man around the age of 19 or so with a brash attitude and thin frame. His story is he was captured while begging for money from the traders, they hope to fatten him up and bulk him up so he can do some heavy labor.

-An older woman, around in her forties or so, who's slightly crazy and claims she can see spirits and they tell her what to do. She has a serene attitude on life and often meditates. She's scared shitless, however, of Vincent for some unknown reason. She won't tell why the slavers captured her, but its obvious from the bruises on her skin.

-An even older man who is obviously a wizard, but can't seem to even do card tricks these days. Ages is around 60's or so. Of the entire group, he seems to be the only one who understands completely what Jacob says, and often speaks riddles himself.

Sound good?

The Writing Writer

I like. Let's outline the plot.

Winterhair
06-29-08, 08:41 AM
Right. Well, how its going to start off with, at least for my character, is that he's gone far out of Radasanth because he needs to think a little bit, trying to figure out what the two voices in his head are and stuff like that. So, he goes hunting, wanting to spend a few nights in the wilderness. Of course, he tries to get some rest one of the nights, and thats when he is captured, waking up before they get to him but knocked unconscious. When he comes to, he's in the cage with Jacob and the others, and he's missing his serrated sword and traveling sack (the only things he carried with him).
What about your character?

EDIT: I read over the way you described your character to the other girl in her recruitment thread. You may have to kill the boy as his brashness could lead to the destruction of our plan, or my character would, but what should Vincent do/say to convince Jacob that he's "intriguing"?
