I found this in my files and it rekindled my love for this character, whom I have come back to so many times. I was level one, a little bit over, but not sure how far. I had somewhere around 200 gold, probably more but I again don't mind. All the links are broken because they used to lead to Althanas threads that now don't exist.

Attire; Akuro seems very fond of the color black, and is well decked-out in it. His pants are overly baggy, coming out a good inch or two on all sides of his legs. There are unnecessary black metal loops sewn into the sides of the pants down the outside of each, with large pockets near the knee, and three pieces of black cloth hanging from each pocket. Around his waist, there are two, long black straps, coming from the front of his pants, near where a belt-buckle would be, to the back of his pants, crisscrossing over the back of his waist and attaching on the opposite sides of his waist. He wears a black shirt, nondescript and with nothing on it, and the back of the shirt is also empty of detail. Under the t-shirt, there is a long-sleeved shirt, with from a distance makes it seem like he is simply wearing a single long-sleeved shirt. Around his right wrist, there is a small, leather, spiked bracelet. His hair is black; with a single streak of dark red from the middle of his forehead down overtop his right eye. That streak of hair is also a bit longer then the rest of his bangs. His hair is medium length, coming down halfway down his ears, and his bangs halfway down his forehead. His skin is pallid, and almost white. Each eye is shadowed with black, natural and not make-up. Each fingernail is also dyed black. His hair is messy, and seems mostly unkempt all the time. His clothes are now darker and have a blood stench to them, due to being soaked in blood many times. The bottom of his pants are torn and ragged, and his eyes are more distant, as if his sorrow has overcome him.
The Black Ghost Gate; The Black Ghost Gate is the only protection this Goth has. It is a small portal, which opens a tiny rift to another dimension for a moment. The rift appears to simply be two black circles, a small one and a large one, made of a strange black light. They are somewhat thick rings, and can appear in mid air, or almost any surface. The Black Ghost Gate is an entranceway to the Black Ghost Nexus, a powerful realm of darkness and Black Ghosts. The Black Ghosts are pulled through this gate in the form of a weapon. There are billions of weapon abilities, which can be pulled from the gate, but currently Akuro can only access two. However, whenever Akuro gains a weapon from either a weapon smith or loot, he can open the Black Ghost Gate and push the weapon in, giving it to a Black Ghost within. When the weapon is summoned again, the Black Ghost will linger in it, granting the weapon particular powers. Akuro is now able to use the Black Ghost Gate to summon multiple weapons at once. Instead of having to pull them through the gate, which takes time and energy, he can simply summon a gate in the air and the weapon will project itself out. Akuro can summon a much larger gate which projects out all of his weapons at once now, also.
The Black Ghost of Batou; When Batou is summoned forth from the gate, he takes the form of a gigantic sword. This sword is 10 inches wide at its base, where the hilt is attached, and has one edge that is perfectly straight, and the coming inwards slowly. In total, the blade is about 5’ tall. The hilt of the blade is nondescript, and is simply black leather wrapped around the main pole, which adds another 2 foot to the overall length, making it, hilt and all, 7’ tall. The blade is made of titanium, and the Black Ghost of Batou makes it so that it weighs only about 30 lbs., thus making it as easier to swing around. Due to his constant use of the Batou, his bond with the spirit within has grown deeper and more personal. As such, the spirit has grown stronger and now the Batou only weighs 30 lbs to his touch [not including the reduction that Irosis gives him] and there is a new ability with this attachment. Since the Batou has grown to enjoy his master wielding him, then Batou will only weigh 30 lbs when Akuro is touching the blade, and thus will weight the appropriate 1,000 lbs that it normally weighs whenever he is not holding it. This makes it impossible for anyone else to wield the Batou (excluding one particular over-powered character I know of).
The Black Ghost of Ketti; When Ketti is summoned from the gate, she takes the form as a steel double-sword, a sword that has a sword on top, and bottom end of the hilt, both equal in length but blade pointed in opposite direction. The double-sword is not meant for close combat however, for the Black Ghost of Ketti makes it so that this blade will always return to the one whom summoned it. When thrown, it acts as a saucer-like boomerang blade, being designed to be light and travel far. The blade, when thrown, spins at incredible speed, spinning until it reaches its distance limit, and returns to Akuro. Akuro can also force the blade to come back to him, by simply a tug of his will.
The Black Ghost of Saraneth; (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7080 )(Titanium) The Black Ghost of Saraneth that was placed in the blade gives it a very peculiar ability. The blade is a reverse decayer. When it is thrust into an object or enemy, instead of harming them, it will instead begin to heal them. Running the blade along a wound will heal anything it touches, though not the internal portions of the wound, thus only closing them. If the blade is thrust into an Undead and left there for a very long period of time, it can actually force the spirit out of the body and leave the body and a completely undecayed corpse once more. It has random effects on half-undead that are unpredictable, and even more unpredictable effects on Vampires and spirits. The blade will have no effect on any creature that is of holy birth, as such of an Angel or Cherub, or any other divine being, for it uses dark energies to do its healing.
The Black Ghost of Irosis; (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=6786&page=1&pp=15) (steel) Lavinian Guard Shackles, broken. These are very strange enchantment. Instead of making the wearer physically stronger, it instead makes it so that anything he is holding with his hands is 10% lighter. Whether it be a weapon or a boulder, any thing that is in his hands will feel and actually be 10% lighter. This makes good for wielding the Batou with greater efficiency due to its still over-powering weight.
The Black Ghost of Lherius (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=6786&page=1&pp=15) (steel) Lavinian Footman Spear. The Black Ghost Lherius is a very simple Black Ghost and simply imbues the weapon with flames. Any metal part of the weapon that is edged [Lherius is intelligent enough not to catch the part that’s getting held on fire] will be permanently on fire, no matter whether it rains or is in a vacuum. The flames are unnatural, therefore cannot be put out unless placed back in the Nexus. The flames only do minor burns, and are about as hot as a candle. They will eventually heat stuff up enough to burn rather easily, however, and whenever it cuts flesh it can partly cauterize the wound, depends how long the blade is stuck in the flesh.
Proficiencies Akuro is skilled at wielding swords that are as large, or larger than his own body, throwing double-swords, using Kunai, and other daggers, and also is skilled at using smaller and medium sized one-handed blades like a katana and long sword. Akuro has grown more proficient with his Batou, being to the point where it is his preferred weapon. He has also grown more proficient with light swords due to training with a Schianova multiple times with Damon Kaosi.
Inventory:
Black Ghost Wallet Since Akuro loves his power of the Black Ghost Gate, he uses a normal satchel to store his gold and other items, but places it in the Black Ghost Nexus along with his weapons. The Black Ghost that is contained within the backpack-like contained, however, did grant the contained a unique property. The container can hold nearly infinite amounts of objects and items, and items and objects can be summoned straight from the bag without actually summoning the bag itself. The bag itself seems to be a Gate, one that stays open. Living creatures cannot be stored in the Black Ghost Wallet, however, for they cannot enter the Black Ghost Nexus realm.

This picture fades or strengthens, even becomes colorful and vivid, with each acceptance of the Dark One and Light One into Akuro's body. The changes are never permanent, so you may work to redeem yourself and reclaim the photograph's beauty.
Enmashi, Sector 19, Owasaki District.
“Ayane! Ayane where are you! Stop hiding, this is no fun! Ayane!” The voice called out, at the top of his lungs, into the dark alleys of Enmashi. The gothic kid shoved past people, looking for the naïve girl who apparently had lost her way, once more. She was like him, very much so, but at first glance nobody could understand. First of all, he was among the lower end of the food chain, a brooding glare given to him whenever he passed by. People barely able to ignore his dark and black methods. Ayane, on the other hand, was a preppy teenage girl, wearing pink and skirts all the time. She had tons of friends, not compared to the Akuro, who some though didn’t know what a friend is. Yet, through all these differences, they have something in common. They are Gate Summoners. These two young people both have the inept ability to summon a Gate, which is simply a small miniature portal to another realm, a realm of energy. Humans cannot enter these alternate realms, since the portals are too small, and only energy can come in and out. Ayane controlled the Wind Gate, and Akuro was known for his infamous Black Ghost Gate. Known, as in, known among those whom work for Aegarious, the Gatekeepers Society. Being a senior member of the Aegarious, Akuro had been given 1,000 gold to spend as he pleased, but did not know he was soon to leave Aegarious. But now, Ayane is missing, last reported to be walking the alleys of Enmashi, searching for Devoids, who were slowly destroying the city by integrating their demonic presence into men and women who had no heart anymore, or sometimes forcing it into those who still had hearts. The Devoids were the ones the Gatekeepers were sworn to fight, and protect humanity from. Humanity was not supposed to know about them, nor the Devoids, but sometimes the word leaked out. Akuro was sent to find his only friend, possibly compromised by the Devoids.
“AYANE! DAMNIT! WHERE THE HELL AR-” Akuro shouted once more, then stopped suddenly, caught in his words. There, before him, lay the young girl, in a blue skirt and white shirt, the school uniform. Blood slowly trickled from her forehead, and nearby stood a large group of men, all dressed in pitch-black trench coats, lacking faces or any other body parts other than shadows. The nearest one’s arm was formed into a sickle shape, and apparently was the cause for the girls death. Tears rose to Akuro’s eyes, staring at the corpse of his only friend, Ayane Motoroki. A voice rang out, dark and echoing, as if thousands of voices merged into one, “You will die like her, with pain beyond your belief” The Devoids spoke, surrounding him as more formed from the shadows. Those who fed on human souls, their envy and hate, they absence of love. They were Devoid of human heart, thus how they acquired their well-suited names. Akuro slammed his eyes closed, tears bursting free. One hand slammed to the ground, energy channeling from his will into his palm. Suddenly, a black circle formed around his hand, rotating slowly. Then another, larger circle formed, rotating at the same speed. He rose, opening his eyes, “You…will…ALL…DIIIIIIIIE” He screamed, as he reached down, his hand pushing into the Gate, and pulling out an enormous blade. As it cleared the gate, the gate dissipated, shrinking then winking out of existence.
Rage forced adrenaline into his system as he brought the blade around, sweeping it through a large batch of Devoids. Caught surprised, they simply screamed as they bodies burst into fragments, like glass shattering. Akuro didn’t stop there, he spun the blade again, over his head, cutting it down at an angle and taking out another row of Devoids that were coming close. It slammed into the ground, digging deep into the old cobblestones. He used it as leverage, and thrust himself into the air, slamming a foot into the head of another Devoid. As his feet landed, the blade came free again, whipping around at incredible speed, the first three rows of Devoids near him. Rampage pushing him on, he once more pulled the blade up, leaping into the air and slamming it straight down, obliterating Devoid after Devoid, taking out five or six at a time. Within only moments, he stood there, covered with small cuts and scratches form the few who could get close enough to try and slice him. Around him, lay thousands of the white orbs left over after a death of a Devoid. The same orbs which are supposed to be brought in to the Aegarious Society, to be converted. What they were converted into, nobody knew, other than the ones whom worked in the secret areas of Aegarious.
Akuro sat there, looking into the eyes of Ayane, his blade lying beside him. Reaching down, almost unconsciously, he touched the blade, summoning the Black Ghost Gate once more. The blade righted itself, with the point down, and slowly sank back into its own realm. He lay there, in the savage garden, among a forest of razors, beside the corpse of his only friend, what was left of her. Tears built up in his eyes once more, softly falling to the grass on either side of him. Blood blended in with tears, feeding the savage garden, feeding life, with Ayane’s death. Misery and grief, now becoming his only emotions, love was no more, happiness was no more. There he lies, in his garden of razors, losing what was left of his heart through bloodied tears of remorse.

Shortly after leaving the Aegarious Society, Akuro had been through much; A war, multiple battles, and many other small missions. During this time he has found that he is not alone in his body and mind, that there is two resident beings within, Tsukazka and Tsubasa. Whether these beings are real, or simply alter egos is currently unknown, but it is known that when Tsukazka takes over, Akuro becomes more relentless in his combat, and enjoys destroying anyone around him brutally. When in Tsukazka mindset, he is also slightly stronger, having use of his full strength, and much more insane. After being imprisoned, Akuro finally won a mental battle with Tsukazka, forcing himself not to kill a greedy merchant, who in turn enslaved him in the Citadel as a Gladiator. The story continues with Akuro being an unwilling competitor in the arenas of the Citadel.

During this time he has found that he is not alone in his body and mind, that there is two resident beings within, Tsukazka and Tsubasa. Whether these beings are real, or simply alter egos is currently unknown, but it is known that when Tsukazka takes over, Akuro becomes more relentless in his combat, and enjoys destroying anyone around him brutally. When in Tsukazka mindset, he is also slightly stronger, having use of his full strength, and much more insane. After being imprisoned, Akuro finally won a mental battle with Tsukazka, forcing himself not to kill a greedy merchant, who in turn enslaved him in the Citadel as a Gladiator. The story continues with Akuro being an unwilling competitor in the arenas of the Citadel.
