Hey guys.
I have a few plans for Evan, but here’s the thing. I’ve got a tough work schedule this week, but come Saturday I’ll be off an entire week. What I wanted to do was schedule a couple of threads ahead of time, one battle and one quest.

Battle (June 28 – June 30)
I’d like for this to be a quick break in period for my character. It’ll be nothing too taxing so if someone’s willing to knock this out over the coming weekend that would be awesome. I don’t care about your level since the competition is over writing and not character ability. Should anyone accept the challenge I’ll post the battle Friday night or Saturday morning and we’d pump out the posts over the next couple of days. There’s one spot open.

Quest (June 29 – whenever)
Since a quest on this site is heartier (like a chunky tomato soup) I know I’m going to have to take more time on posts. If at least one other person is willing to post twice a day on the weekends and once a day on the weekdays I’d gladly play with them. There are two spots open.

I know this is strange and this is a fun looking site, but I’d love to get something done while I can.

Hey, a battle would be pretty cool between Evan and Alcyone. They can both fly (Alcyone sort of) and both have a sort of universal connection. I've been itching for a good aerial battle.

I imagine the dialogue would be pretty entertaining between the two - probably discussing Life, the Universe and Everything while beating each other to a pulp.

Mutant Lorenor, I'm still working out the details at the moment, but the quest will be about Evan's first days in Radasanth, where he helps a mother track down her missing husband and son. I do have another quest in the works, but this is the one I'm refering to on the first post.

Totally. I have a reasonably wicked story plotted out, at least from Alcyone's end.

Since your guy can fly, what say we do it up in true dogfight fashion?

As long as the flight is realistic, I'm cool. I intended on flight being a quest thing instead of a battle thing just to account for liquid time and to use against npc's. If you promise no Dragonball Z or Superman stuff, I'll battle you.

Would you like a companion for that quest Evan? It sounds promising. I am a steady poster and I am constantly looking for something interesting to do. Whatever help I can be, you let me know. Feel free to contact me either through Althy or on AIM- creno0505197. I have an alt that more of a good guy character if that will pose a problem. Lorenor can do good deeds but there is always an evil motivation behind it. Either way it goes I hope I can help you complete your quest!

My good man, I am shocked -insulted- that you would associate me with that excuse for entertainment. :P

Weirdly enough though, my first battle was against a guy called "Saiyan" who kicked Alcyone's butt with his energy attacks. Though he technically 'won' the fight, I won the battle based on grading. The winner of the thread isn't necessarily the winner of the in-character fight around here.

Besides, Alcyone doesn't really fly, she - well, the username says it all. If your character can fly at all, I imagine they'd be pretty evenly matched in an aerial battle. If the idea of a dogfight in the blue skies doesn't really appeal to you though, no pressure. I can scrounge up another aerial opponent; there's more than you'd think around here.

Lorenor, I think you and I would make a good quest but your character is very strong. He'd make short work of low level npc's. Do you have another, lower level account? If not it'll be a welcome challange to put your character to work.

Either way it looks like everything's all systems go.

Oh gods, Saiyan. I remember him. And his other characters. I have to say, he was the worst power player around here, from what I remember and just reading his stuff. Gah. He even had a Bleach character that seemed to be able to annihilate everything in its path-----at level 0. o.O

Anyways. Ahem. If you would like to quest with my character sometime, just hit me up Ballantyne. I like your stance on things and your character.

Though, it seems you'd rather not have a high level companion for your quest. I'd counter by saying that unlike what's displayed in her profile, she would show a certain measure of difficulty in most common fights.

If you really think it wouldn't work, then I'm open for either another quest, or that battle (though you know my reluctance for the latter).

Lorenor is actually fairly weak compared to other characters of the same level. Aside from a few nifty tricks and some decent swordplay and melee tactics he's fairly good to quest with. Alberdyne is at level 4 as well. I have a level 2 alt, but he's considerably stronger than Lorenor is and I don't like using him that much. So that's the situation. If you still wanna do something let me know.

Wow. This is a pleasant surprise. Lots more than I expected. Here's how we can all work this out.

I'll do the fast battle with Falling With Style, and the fast quest with Mutant Lorenor. If any one of you can post once a day like Lorenor can I'd love to have you in my fast quest. To everyone else I think I can muster up a good idea for a quest.

Muha, excellent. The quests were waiting to be picked up in the House of Sora mission board, but I figure taking them on and having someone along for the ride would be interesting as well.
