That cow. It smelled delicious and it was right there, in front of him, begging to be eaten. Fenem was willing to oblige. He had not had fresh prey in a long time and his hunting instincts prompted him onward. The giant wolf walked silently through the plain, keeping low in the tall grass. The seven foot wolf stalked the sleeping mammal. While it was not the shape of real wolf, there were many characteristics that were similar. His head was larger and the tail was just as busy, and the hind legs were similar. However, the front paws were like a large, furry human’s hand with claws. He pause momentarily to take in the situation. His white fur blew in the wind along with the grass around him.
Seconds later, he stood to his full, seven foot height and roared. The sound woke the cow, but the bewildered bovine did not get far before the werewolf pounced. Both the wolf and its prey rolled around on the ground. Fenem clawed at the animal’s stomach, know that it would incapacitate. After a brief tangle, the animal went still and Fenem feasted. The blood flow over his stomach, turning the pristine, white fur to a savage mat of red.
Fenem indulged in the beef, devouring the carcass within the hour, taking his sweet time in the night. When he had had his fill, the wolf, at a much slower pace than before, walked towards the wooded area. After hopping the fence with ease, he found the bush which contained his clothes and sword. He turned into his human for, which was a foot shorter than his wolf form. The white hair was confined to his head, however, the blood that stained his from remained. He did the best he could to get the blood off, but having no water, there was little success. Fenem. began to put his Hakuma on, when something made him turn around. It was a noise, a noise distinctly not animal.
