Personality:
Ghistre is a womanizer; he uses his charm and wits to bed as many beautiful women as possible. His fighting style reflects this attitude; he often handles battles in a casual or offhanded manner. When speaking, Ghistre can sometimes get wrapped up in hearing himself speak, but he is not usually so vain. Loyal to a fault, he would never double-cross anyone he thinks of as a friend. However, what can be seen as bravery is often just bravado; Ghistre would rather make love than do battle.

Appearance:
Tall and lean, with slick black hair and striking blue eyes, Ghistre can always be seen with a smirk on his face. He has a great love of life and this shows in his actions. He wears a leather breastplate emblazoned with his family’s crest (an open book) and wears leather gloves and boots. When not wearing his armor, he prefers a loose red shirt made of silk instead of his breastplate. However, he usually wears the gloves. His greatest pride is his rapier and dagger; both are of excellent craftsmanship and have served him well.

History:
Brammas is the son of a librarian. He grew up in the city of Scara Brae and knows its streets well. He and his childhood friends were always getting into trouble of some kind. At the age of nine, his uncle taught him how to use the rapier and dagger. Five years later, his uncle died and left his blades to Brammas. They are his most treasured possession and he never parts with them. After the death of his uncle, Brammas shortened his name and began roaming Scara Brae in search of adventure. He found it in the arms of fair maidens and soon developed into quite the womanizer. Mas Ghistre lives and easy life, doing odd jobs around small towns to earn enough gold to drink away the nights. He once traveled to Corone to battle in the Citadel against the Valentine Bleeder, but he doesn’t talk about it. V’dralla saved him from death in the arena and thus his life is hers to command.

After leaving the Citadel, Brammas ran into Teric, a mercenary who had years of experience with a rapier. The young fighter followed the older man though the city of Radasanth, learning valuable life lessons on the way.

Not too long after, Brammas found himself once again in the city of Radasanth. He entered the Citadel and was matched up against Edward Judorne. In an ever-changing battlefield, Brammas and Edward battled to see who would emerge victorious. Eventually, the young traveler used his illusion magic to his advantage and won the fight.

Several months later, he was traveling through the Concordia Forest when he stumbled across a gladiator style tournament going on. He made it through several rounds of fighting before he was matched against Joshua Cronen. The lethal warrior made short work of Brammas, but he gained invaluable experience.

Skills:
Combat: (passive) Ghistre is proficient with his rapier and dagger, but relies more on his speed than his strength.
Flair II: (passive) As Ghistre’s flair levels up, his skill with a rapier and dagger will become more elegant and precise. At this level, Ghistre’s moves 1.25x faster than an average human, his attacks hurt 1.1x more, and both of these stats increase by .25x (to 1.5x and 1.45x respectively) when Brammas performs for a crowd.
Panache: Panache is a skill that aids Ghistre in battle. When using panache, Ghistre taunts the enemy to lower their guard. Then, by using large flamboyant gestures, he inflicts 25% more damage on his enemy. Panache may be used once per battle (and only in battle).
Espionage: Ghistre is learning the art of espionage. At this level, he has above average skills in eavesdropping and below average skills in lockpicking.
Glamour II: This is a series of illusion spells that deceive the senses or minds of others. They cause people to see things that are not there, not see things that are there, hear phantom noises, or remember things that never happened. Ghistre can use this skill once every three posts, and the spell lasts for three posts.
Strong Mind: Because he can create illusion spells, Brammas can easily detect illusions when they are used.
Breath of V’dralla: Because the goddess saved Ghistre’s life, he is bound to her for a time. Because of this connection, Brammas heals 1.5x faster than a normal human.

Equipment:
Rapier and Dagger: steel blades of excellent craftsmanship.
The Ring: this eighth of an inch wide steel band has intricate patterns on it. Crafted by Jirou (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?p=111166), it is above average craftsmanship.
The Gold Coin: this tricky coin has a face value of 50 GP. When Ghistre pays with this coin, it ends up right back in his purse. However, whoever received the coin still believes to have been paid in full.
The Silver Coins (3): these coins each have “Concordia Tourney” engraved on one side and an engraving of the forest on the other side. Valued at 2 GP each, these coins are more for sentimental value than for profit. Received here. (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?p=113934#post113934)
Maps: Ghistre has maps of the continents of Scara Brae and Corone. They aren’t very detailed though.
Supplies: He carries first aid supplies with him and also has changes of clothes, polishing agents for his blades, and a sharpening stone.
