I want to change Shad's character around IC -- specifically in appearance -- and flesh out her history, but I am having a little bit of trouble doing this in a solo, and as I seem to have a stronger muse when writing with other people lately...well, there you go.

So that's basically my perrogative here, although the meat of the quest itself can consist of anything, to be figured out in terms of what'll work best for our chars once someone is interested (nothing too epic). I do have a few idears.
Anyone, any level, preferably active (know however that in flying out for a funeral this weekend I will most likely be gone four days...if this thing is happening by then), - as in two posts a week at least.

There might be some delicious flan involved.

Unfortunately I can't use an IM 'til I get my old computer back, and my schitzy net connection interferes with download-free programs to the point of me not wanting to bother with them (I know this sounds like an excuse of someone who doesn't want to utilize the awesomeness of instant chat, but trust me...it is hell not being able to effectively communicate with online peps. I feel like a cyberhermit).

That said and done, I don't want any more quests for Shads until the one with Lorenor is finished, but my alt Voronkova could use some development if you're up for something.

prolly here. and the giant mechanical snake can be my reason for being there. Darcy could here rumors of a 'snake of glass(cause mechanical snakes are just that shiny) and she thinks of a small snake that would fetch a good price on the black market, so she docks and takes with her her first mate Deilio to go into Concordia to get the snake

That sounds cool. Here's a brief rundown of what M_L and I have been discussing so far - we're just brainstorming right now, I'd like this to be a group effort so any ideas you want to throw in please do!

The big snake will be intelligent, if a bit eccentric, and will hail from Shadow's reality, but it's reason for being here is unknown. It'll be quite dangerous.

I think it will be guarding a small area of the forest, like a glen or meadow or something, and has even killed/maimed a few hikers who have strayed too close, so the locale are obviously talking about it.

Shadow has been sent to Concordia by a monk at the Citadel with a small crystal. He pretty much told her that it would help her out in her quest to return home. Lorenor I am told is known to dwell in the forest so he could easily bump into either one of us. ^^ His charrie has a nifty technovirus that could figure into the story.

Is there anything in particular you would like to accomplish with Mithra and her mate, or is it just character development for you as well?

no, i really just want to get more into practice with Darcy. I'm not used to the piratey character quite yet, and this thread'll be help in that no doubt. I already know how i'm gonn aset this up, so i suppose its all up to you ^^.

I linked it to the rest of the stories I'm currently doing. So I hope you guys enjoy it. Nautilus, those mercs are supposed to be people from your reality as we were discussing in IM's. You can edit them however you want to. They saw that there's a bounty for Lorenor and went ahead and started to pursue him for some quick cash. You can take over from there and describe how they look/equipment/all that stuff. I hope you don't mind that I did that.
