Quest, anyone?

I'm bored and want to start my character, Twill - there's a link in the sidebar. I can be active - a post a day, probably. My character's not really warrior-based but whatever floats your boat - plot, setting, battle if you want, I have no preference. I've got YIM, AIM and MSN if you want to plan. I'm looking for someone reasonably active (maybe a couple of posts a week at least), but apart from that I don't mind.

I was joking around, I'm patient... Sometimes... I vote for group quest! I was reading through the Scara Brae information and found something interesting about the giant spiders... So I must quest for their silk!

I personally prefer doing a one on one quest because I don't want people bailing on us. So yeah. I'm in favor of doing a one on one quest with you Twil.

That's cool with me. so it's a three man team. cool. And I could do with getting some of the spider web too. I'm gonna start my adventure by collecting some items, then figure out ways to make better items from them, or add upgrades or enchantments to my armor and stuff. Sooo...when do we start?

I wouldn't bail unless some RL issue got in the way, but if thats what you'd like, I cannot object! It might've been tough to justify being in Scara Brae anyhow, right? (Though since I'm still new, I really wouldn't know)

As for starting... since Twill requested, perhaps she should begin whenever we're ready.

I'd like to do something as well. I don't really have any plots in mind, but I'm up for anything, really. I don't usually group up with more than 2 people at a time, but it doesn't bother me, either.

Awesome. Well, guys, let's have some kind of story before we start! Otherwise we're just impro'ing and that's never good.

Let's see what we have to work with then. A martial artist who ran away from home, an amnesiac girl, an outcast halfbreed, and a smuggler with three personalities. Then we have the setting, my idea of going into the forests hasn't been objected to so far... And it is said that monsters often ambush unwary travelers. Could we play off of that somehow?

Well, I prefer original quests, Zerix. The standard 'peope go into forest, get attacked, win/lose, the end' quests aren't too interesting. How about we go for something more exciting?

I can see that Isaac is a smuggler; maybe we could play off that angle? What kind of things does he transport - Twill's always on the lookout for some kind of way to stop her touching the floor, like a charm, a drug, something that could make her fly, illegal's not a problem. Maybe them two could meet up at some private place, roleplay a few posts and then Zerix and Kohaku could meet up someplace and bump into us? We'd look mighty suspicious, so I don't know, any ideas for what could happen next? Or more discussion, that's just a two-minute idea.

Eh, it was just an idea. Just trying to be at least partially useful, since I'm still trying to figure out this place as a whole. Anyway, I like your idea better, with the smuggler, but how Zerix and Kohaku would fit in is beyond me... They'd meet up mostly likely due to Zerix being curious about that five-tailed fox thing or something like that... After that, I have no clue.

EDIT: Ya know what, I now vow not to post again in this thread until everyone else participating has posted unless I have something actually important to say or do... Man, I'm an addict already...

Lol, well, me and Zerix could fight in the arena...i already have a thread started that he could pop into. that way we could meet, then bump into you two. That, and if you guys are looking for a quest still, I'm sure that I could cook one up.

Hmmm, well, what if we were to hunt for specific items? Treasure hunters of sort? we hunt down the rare items, then we sell them for a huge profit! think about it, we have a warrior for protection, a medic for support, a smuggler to sell the items, and Twill's Orientation ability would be useful for finding the items. Wow... we could make a good living that way, lol. What do ya say?

Could we not be a gang who think they're so hard and tough - when they're not? You know...knives between teeth, black balaclavas, leather everywhere, complicated passwords and phrases, secret handshakes...the lot?

That would be... Hilarous! Even though treasure hunters seems a bit common, it's fine with me if it's fine with everyone else. We still haven't gotten Smuggler's Run's input. Then again, he did say he was up for anything...

Yes, but this will be a more ongoing thing, I believe. We should make a Power Group with the most losses ever, that would be amusing.

I'm up for a treasure-hunting sort of thing. I'm not particularly humorous in my writing, though. I'm not sure about the PG, but I'd give it a go if everyone wants to try it.

Twill and Reed could meet up in the underworks of whatever Arena that you guys might be fighting in, and they can have their discussion about Twill's odd request. You guys could meet us, and then from there, hilarity ensues, and of course, PROFIT!
