Godhand swaggered into a specialized armor shop, approached the counter and made his intended purchase clear.

"I'd like a black vlince vest with eleven layers; enough to stop a .44 Magum bullet."

The mercenary scratched his chin.

"I'll need a Brodie helmet, too. Steel, and dye it with weapon black so it doesn't reflect light. Plus, and I'm not sure if this is really your department..."

Godhand produced a tactical gasmask from his coat.

"I'd like this enchanted so that I can see in infrared with the utmost clarity."

Dekalus listed down the orders, down to the smallest details he could find browsing Lord Wiki's Pedium he had in his hand. If it were not for the tome, the armor crafter would have a hard time designing the outfit to his customer's specification.

"Alright, sir. I'll have your orders ready in two weeks. The layered Vlince vest and steel helmet will run you... Three thousand pieces total. As for the enchantment, I'll have it sent to an enchanter and have it ready as well. That will cost you an additional five hundred, sir."

Godhand figured he was probably ripping him off with that helmet price, but he was willing to let it go because he felt the vest was a pretty good deal. He put his gasmask on the counter along with the 3500 gold and left the shop.

Dekalus took his time getting the items constructed, handing the orders out to the nearby smithy and enchanter for the bulk of the work to be completed. A tailor took up the job of cutting and sewing his Vlince vest, who took pain to stitch them as tightly as possible. The metal helmet, as designed by the man himself, was sent to a blacksmith who had the skills and strength to even shape the metal as well as the best. As for the mask, a young girl in black took up the order and returned the item within a few hours, the enchantment completed even before the messenger could make it back to the shop.

With all the wares completed and ready for delivery, Dekalus waited in his store for the customer to return.
