Appearance: As it stands, Kyoga is a very Interesting Demon by anyone's standards. And, that's because he has a very interesting ability. He has the ability to alter his appearance, To shapeshift. Not very many people know what he really looks like.
His true appearance would be that of a large lizard like demon, able to stand on it's hind legs. His claws on all 4 feet are very thin, but very hard and sharp. His face has human traits to it, but is covered in green scales, and did not have lips. His tongue, one of his favorite body parts, is a whopping 20 feet long, and quite strong. His fingers and toes are webbed, and he is a very good swimmer, faster then most land dwelling creatures. His downfall would be land movement in this form. He is usually slower then some creatures.
How he usually walks around is in the forum of a mere human. This human, whom Kyoga had killed long ago, was almost elven like, but wasn't in other ways. His face was what made him elven like, very smooth and soft, but the rest of his body was rough and battle hardened. He was tanned pretty well, and his hands were well calloused from the use of his bow-sword.
He has various other forms as well, and as he sees people and other beasts in battle, win or lose, he can learn their appearance as well.
History: Being a reptile, Kyoga never knew his parents. He emerged from his hole, and immediately devoured his siblings, all 27 of them. After he cleared his throat of egg shell pieces, he started to wander around outside his hole. And, that's when it hit him...the spirit, that is. It was a VERY, VERY painful day for him, one that he doesn't remember at all. All he could remember was waking up to the face of this strange girl. Oh well, so much for a happy childhood.
Soon after he gained control of himself, and had a few conversations with Kogura, Kyoga started out into the vast unknown. He started to adapt to the world in his own ways...by trying to learn as many transformations as possible. He gained birds quickly, and as the years ticked by, he was even working his way up to dragons and other fierce animals.
His real challenge was when he crossed the path of a human. He only ever crossed one human in his Demon form, a traveling warrior who possessed a strange weapon. The battle went well for Kyoga, taking down the human in fifteen minuets flat. And, with that fifteen minuets came his first human transformation, and his first weapon. Ever since that day, Kyoga has been walking around in town, cities and villages, looking for people and skills to add to his collection. His ever tempting partner usually picking the first being in sight and pestering Kyoga to try and get him to use her. Though she persists, he has yet to use her powers to this day.
Skills: Shape Shift- The ability to, after analyzing their battle techniques and their personality, to be able to shift into their shape. This time can be spent either fighting the person, or watching the person fighting. Also, time is required to be spent with the entity before he can take it's shape. Once the person has been acquired, Kyoga can copy not only their body, but their weapons and items as well to make the package complete. The weapons won't have any special abilities, but it's more for cosmetic reasons in case someone who knew the person were to run into him. (He knows how to transform into most small animals, Tigers, Wolves, Dragons, and the human of which he doesn't know his name. Others will be added at the next level up.)
Spirit Touch- Kyoga is a very blessed, yet very cursed person. He has the ability to steal other people's skills. How it works, is that his Spirit Stealer touches a person, copying that part of the person's/weapon's spirit/ability, and then bonds to Kyoga's spirit for 24 hours. The only problem with this is that this process is extremely painful, because the Spirit Stealer actually welds the soul fragment into place within his own. Doing this too many times can damage his soul, making it inhabitable for the Soul Stealer, and Kogura would leave him forever. (Max of 10 skills. All skills start out at below average. Can only absorb one skill at a time.
Bow-swordsmanship- The ability to use a bow-sword. Average.
Equipment: Bow-Sword- This weapon isn't exactly your run-of-the-mill weapon. It's steel blades are joined together by a Yew handle. The blades on either side of the handle are curved like a recurve bow, and are thin enough to flex when the spider silk string is pulled back. The arrows are thin, and fly straight and true. The tips are very thin and sharp, meant to pierce armor rather then deal lots of damage.
*Familiars: Spirit Stealer Kogura- When Kyoga was born, this mysterious Spirit was there, just waiting to bond with him. The spirit is a rarity of his kind, and is both a blessing and a curse. Only able to be seen by Kyoga, Kogura is in the form of a mischievous looking young girl. She has braided hair, smooth skin, and her entire body was a blueish tint.
