I would like to thank everyone for bearing with my recent absence. As the sort of "Head Mod" on the FQ project, it largely depends on me for day to day direction. But as I'm sure some of you are familiar with, sometimes being a professional student takes precedence, and this past term left me with few other options.
But, in a belated announcement, I'd like to let everyone know the winners of the Featured Quest prizes in Chapter 1.
Highest Score
The first prize, for "Highest Score," goes to Bloodrose and Rayse Valentino for their excellent work, Rise of the Underground (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=9108). This quest scored a 79, and was quite a good read -- I highly recommend it, and it also managed to obtain the coveted title of Judge's Choice.
They'll be receiving 250 EXP/level and 500 GP/level as a reward for winning the "Highest Score" category.
Most Active and Activity Rewards
"Most Active" is scored by giving players 25 GP per per post. The highest point total, though, gets that multiplier ramped up to 75 GP per post, the next highest, 50 GP/post, and the next three, 40 GP per post.

3. Rayse Valentino: 37 posts (x40) = 1480 GP!

In addition, everyone with Exemplary Contributor status will be allowed to select a choice between a mythril helmet or a prevalida dagger -- post in Ye Olde Shoppe (http://www.althanas.com/world/forumdisplay.php?f=214) to make your choice!

Most Valuable Player
And finally, after a brief discussion among the GMs for Chapter 1, it was decided that the "Most Valuable Player" award would go to one player from the Salvar side and one player from the Raiaera side who did the most to support each of those side's storylines. For Salvar, the award goes with gladness to Rayse Valentino. And I am pleased to announce that Raiaera's MVP is no other than Caden Law. Each of these players will receive 750 EXP/level and 1500 GP/level.
You will also receive a free item in Ye Olde Shoppe (http://www.althanas.com/world/forumdisplay.php?f=214), up to adamantine in material OR imbued with an enchantment of your choice. If you choose an adamantine item, it cannot be enchanted, but the more your scrimp on the material the more power I'll grant the enchantment.
