When you said "large" I was expecting something about 800x600 pixels in size.

These aren't large. They're just fine. :)

The sig banners are great (<3 the Arcanine one) although I feel your hand-drawn art is a little on the rigid side. No worries, nothing a little practice and some guidance from fellow artists won't fix. :)

The biggest point you should take care in is to enjoy drawing. From there, there's no wrong way to go. Except copying other people and saying it's your own, though. That's a crime as bad as plagiarism.
