Lucht du Sol looking for members

Lucht du Sol (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=16832) is a newly reformed PG with the goal of uncovering lost relics of Althanas. It is an Explorer's Society that will serve to explore uncharted areas of the world and well-traveled regions alike. Currently I am looking for five people who would be interested in joining the PowerGroup as one of the key members. There would be an IC induction and then each member could feel free to begin exploring via the Clan Mission Board or their own ideas.

The dual goal of the PG is to find treasure and uncover secrets of the world. I have a few things in mind, but am always looking for input. Post here if interested and I'll let you know if you're accepted or not.

Please try to include an IC reason why you would join. Thanks.

As Esmerelda, I would be intrested in joining.

Her current Prime directive is nothing more or less than the complete scouting and researching of Althanas to take back to her designer whose currently repaying his debts to the aibrone monks.

She is not a member of any PG, and her prime directive of scouting and research fits in nicely with Lucht du Sol's goals.

As she levels up several of her skills she gains along the way will help very nicely with uncovering Althy's secret treasures. Heck, her current ability to melt into goo will help. who else can fit through cracks in the floors, walls, ceilings and doors?

The IC reasoning would be that Drake travels around a lot and is particularly interested in finding dangerous magical objects and safeguarding them, most especially necromancy-related relics.

Edit: Also, don't the key member restrictions only apply to PGs that haven't declared total immunity?

Well, she can be in any region, at any time, even Scara Brae, but I somehow doubt SB would be appropriate.

Perhaps, not having enough members yet ICly, Your character advertises for assistance with a small time treasure hunting quest, that somehow manages to also be a good showcase of her skills for treasure hunting.

Along the way, he sees she'd be a good addition to the PG and asks her to join.

It wouldn't be anything major in the ways of artifacts and temples. Perhaps a map said to be penned by Jomil, since she wanders about all the time, enchanted two fold:

Once to always be completly accurate no matter where you are,

and two to have little enchanted spots of light representing towns, cities, you, and places of interest.

It would make an ideal artifact to belong to the PG itself. Copy it, hand out the unenchanted regular varieties to people heading out, and everyone has at least a partial basis for any future PG quest.

You know, as in hand out a copied section of it covering Fallien, with a place of interest marked for further study. Or something like that. You know, just as an example.

Glad to be aboard. I was just mentioning the key member thing since you don't have to limit yourself to 6 if you don't want to. Anyway.

For the introduction thread:

A noble or lord in whatever continent has been vocal in calling for aid in the plight of the Raiaera and was sent a gift from Xem'zund himself. This gift has sunken the noble/lord's village into a foggy marshland and turned many of the villagers into zombies/monsters.

Drake travels there, to investigate anything from Xem'zund, while rumor has it the gift was an artifact taken from the draconian's and used to worship their dark god that required blood sacrifices. The one called D, if I remember right. We both get there, meet up to get the artifact and turn it off, then join the PG.

That's the loose idea.

Spoils:
After an initiation quest, A Nony Mouse will request the minor artifact as a spoil. The initiated member must request only gold and give half to the PG Treasury.

Yea, that sounds fine.

Edit: Do we need to pay any sort of induction fee? I know some PGs do that.

Just half the gold from your initiation quest is mandatory. anything else is just a bonus.

All I care about for esmey is getting XP. Long as I can get that, I'm just dandy. ( is Esmerelda)
The map like I said, ideally belongs to the PG itself, and to that end, you are the most suitable candidate to get it.
