Seeking:
2 other adventurers. Preferably of "good alignment", but if you can make an evil character work, you're welcome to try and more power to you. Characters with an affinity for children- or who are children themselves- are particularly encouraged.

Location:
This quest can be set in any region other than Raieara (due to inaccessability by my character's story) or Scara Brea (due to my level).

Backstory:
The Sorcerer Epsee was once a respected and powerful man of magic. However, a few months ago, the families of three children between the ages of 6 and 8 (in the region of the quest) awoke to find the children missing and an invitation for the children to come see "Epsee's Chamber of Wonders." The children have not been seen since. The Sorcerer denied any form of wrongdoing when inquiries were made, and disappeared himself in the week that followed. No one has been able to locate the children, the sorcerer, or the "Chamber of Wonders", despite the efforts of many. Recently, word has circulated that select individuals have been mysteriously receiving invitations- the same kind that the children had been given- to see the Chamber for themselves.

Introductions:
Characters wishing to take part in this quest can be introduced in several ways. Good characters can be one of the recipients of the mysterious invitations, or hunt down an invitation in good faith on the behalf of the concerned families. At least one family has placed a reward for finding their child (and "dealing with" the sorcerer), so evil or mercenary characters can be hired for tracking down an invitation.

OOC Info:
During the quest, characters will all convene (however they may arrive) at the Chamber of Wonders. They will be guided to play a series of games there, with the promise that they will be able to find the whereabouts of the children after all the games are completed. While there will be competition in the games, this is not a combat quest; although if some battle-heavies want to try their hand at something other than hack and slash, they are welcome to.

I'm interested in it, but I'm not sure what you would classify my character. I see him as a good fellow that does his job, but makes others see him as cold. Still though I would like to participate.

This sounds really cool, I'd love to take part. I'd prefer to use this character, but if he doesn't work for whatever reason, let me know and I'll contact you with a list of my alts. I think it'd be really neat to put Josh in some compromising situations.

I'll throw my name out there if you want. Hell, it'd work that my character happens to be one of some other unknown children that happened to be invited, although he can't read very well, I'm sure I could make up an excuse for the boy to be there.

Numbersnumbersnumbers: Looking over the profile, the character (hate to say) doesn't seem to "fit" very well. I may be off with that one, but if you don't mind letting me in on what alts there are, because I have wanted to quest with you for a long, long time.

DT!: I'm afraid that much like ^, the character seems out of place. He'd be perfect for a dungeon crawl, but it just seems like in this case a "monster hunter for hire" wouldn't really mesh.

Inkfinger: Your character does fit quite well, and I mean this in no offense, but I do want to wait to look through 016573's alts first (because I really have wanted to quest with him for a while). That being said, don't assume I'm counting you out- because I could see you working well with this- I just want to look over the options before deciding.

We all would basically be able to start on our own, the common link needing to be either possessing or finding one of the "invitations", which- having magical properties, of course- would lead us to the Chamber. The method of it leading you there can be up to you (perhaps it flashes places to go as a mental vision, perhaps it's more blatant like making a trail of sparkling light for you to follow), so the setting will be pretty open for what you want, up until- of course- our convergence at the chamber itself.

Although could you expand on "kidnapped" a bit and how it would affect things?

Actually. You just gave me an idea. The convergence works perfectly. I'll just have Kially follow a magical butterfly which only he can see.

Okay, ready when you are. Kially, being the physical manifestation of Althanas' wind, I can make up a decent excuse for him to be ANYWHERE. I also have him in about 6 different time lines on purpose. He's a developing god, so I can show him slowly ascending through all the periods he will eventually govern the weather of, so tech levels, other than stupidly modern, may be met with an awkward but open character sheet each time.

And by kidnapped, I meant taken away from normality, no one has physically taken him.

Scara Brae or Radasanth works best for me; it's hard to justify Stacia being anywhere else.

As for finding an invitation, don't worry... I have my methods....

As for the second spot, not doing it out of meanness but purely mercenary effort is first come-first serve.
