Looks like we’re stuck out in the august rain, folks, out in the cloudburst once again! Next to dancing around lampposts or ordering Chinese, the best next thing to do is sit out the storm while watching a good movie. Of course, when we think of movies lately, we think of superheroes!
Now that I’ve established this tenuous link, I invite all of Althanas to take part in August's very own Era of Superheroes and Supervillains (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?p=128140)! If you’ve been itching to write as I have after seeing Iron Man or Batman, now’s the occasion with this month’s topic:
Power is gained, and it has the potential to change the world for better or for worse. In one way or another, your character finds itself involved with this power, and is faced with a choice.Choose any style you wish to convey, from Frank Miller’s Noir to the campy antics of Captain Nice and Mr. Terrific. Just for kicks, you can include movie ratings in your titles (G, PG-13, Rated R) so that we can light-heartedly sneak in and ignore them before getting kicked out the theaters on our buttocks. Good times.
