Kelyia Toreincroft pushed the hood of her cloak back so that she could bind her hair back again. She gave a small sigh. This was the third time in the past hour she had gone through the movements. She knotted the leather strand tightly, and for a bit her hair would stay tightly gathered at the back of her head. But inch by inch the uncooperative green and brown strands worked their way loose, falling in her face at the most annoying times. Kelyia glanced around. There were no other beings very near, and so she left her hood down, enjoying the breeze off of the lake. She could see Brokenthorn Forest on the other shore, and despite her knowledge of the dangers that lurked in those shadows she felt comforted by the sight. Forest Elves seldom learned to fear the forests, even the ones about which the most terror-ridden stories were told. The knowledge that Brokenthorn Forest belonged to itself, just as all forests did, was deeply cemented in Kelyia's mind. Still, at the moment she had no desire to enter those trees, her mood was light today, if thoughtful. Rowan was sitting with her front paws in the water, a rare position for any feline, even a wild one. The mountain lion was staring with great intensity at the water. What are you doing? She asked silently. Many weren't aware of it, but animals shared a common tongue that worked even between species, although a few of the less intelligent animals couldn't speak it. Kelyia had learned the language when she was barely out of the nursery. She was remarkably good at the language. The great cat before her made no movement to acknowledge she had heard, but Kelyia still heard her answer, I'm trying my paws at fishing. I've almost got one close enough to- A pale brown paw lashed out, unsheathed claws gleaming as they sliced through the water. A silver trout-like fish flew onto the sand and flopped about helplessly for a minuet before Rowan's jaws closed around the head with a crunching sound. Kelyia winced, "Did you have to do that?" She asked aloud. Rowan was as intelligent as anything two-legged. More so, if you asked the cat herself. But this time she didn't answer Kelyia, only proceeded to consume the fish with passion. Her elf master sighed, then turned her two-toned eyes back over the lake, enjoying the beauty of nature that hadn't yet been demolished by "civilization".

As She payed attintion to her felin friend, she did'nt notice the foot steps comeing from the field behind her. they were quit some distance behind as Seth was just now emerging from the trees. He was headed to the the stream to get a quick dream of water.

He could tell that she was not a threat so he made no effert to gaurd him self. He just keep walking... but he did slow down his pace so that he did'nt startle Kelyia or her feline friend. The fishing trick was something that he thought was very impresive. He did make sure that his steps were light but not to light. He wanted her to know that he was not trying make an attempt to sneak up on her.

He reached the stream and pulled out a small pouch from his side and dipped it into the stream and watched as it slowly filled with water. He looked over at Kelyia and f=her fury friend and with a clean motion he grabbed a fish from the stream and walkwed over to them and gave it to the felin.
