Name: Irou Cannun
Age: 22
Race: Human
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Blue
Height:5'11
Weight:158lbs
Occupation: Street performer/fighter
Personality: Basically a kind hearted fella. He enjoys acting for children and adults alike to lighten the mood that the world is in. He has a soft spot for animals and a sarcastic and moody personality that he saves for Nix.
Appearance: slightly toned but not very strong physically. He has runes that travel from the back of his neck, to his chest and down his arm all the way to the fingertips. He wears light leather armor that is flexable and easy to move in but offers little protection from direct attacks. Although he lacks any battle scars to show off, he has scars on each palm that shows that they have been stabbed multiple times before.
Weapons/Items: His only weapon is a hilt with a small sharp edge that only slightly punctures the skin. He also has a small liquor gourd that he keeps water in. ((He combines his ability to manipulate water with the hilt to make a sword of condensed water. A water sword is weaker then steel but if he rams the sharp edge on his hilt into his palms, he can make a sword of condensed blood which is equal to steel.))
Ability: Water manipulation- He has the power to manipulate up to 10 gallons of water at a time. He can condense water to make a sword or projectiles but they can only be up to 3 yards away from him or he loses control of it. Since blood is a type of liquid, he can also manipulate his own blood to make a sword that is more durable then a water sword.
History: Irou was part of a tribe that worshiped the elemental gods. At the time of there birth, the children of the village are marked with a rune on the back of there neck that slowly grows downward toward the hosts arm. Around the age of 16, when the rune reaches the tips of the fingers, the host is given the power over one of the elements.
Irou's element was water and his god was Aegir. Not long afterward, he began his training to become the best in his village. He developed quickly and soon surpassed all of the other children his age. Only one other child developed at a faster pace then him. The flame manipulater, Kiri.
Kiri was the same age as Irou and the two had been good friends as kids. When the two gained there power on the same day, something about Kiri changed. At first it was a small change, like, when Irou noticed that Kiri had confused looks on his face at times and the fact that Kiri was constantly daydreaming. Soon the changes became worse. He began to talk to himself and his eye's darted around like there was someone after him. He constantly trained as though he was possessed to do so.
The day the two of them turned 21, Kiri finally snapped. He went rampant and started to burn the village to the ground. Irou had been at the shrine of Aegir when he received a vision of the village in flames. He quickly made his way back just in time to see Kiri vanish in a flash of flames. He could only stare at the charcoaled bodies that littered the ground. He dropped to his knees and begged the gods for answers when a voice spoke to him.
He turned to see a little girl standing before him. Her name was Nix, a servant for the water god. She told him that a war had broken out in the realm of the gods and that Ifrit, the god of flame, was attempting to enter into the human world. His tool was Kiri, he would later find out. From the time he received his power, Ifrit spoke to him and tormented him day and night.
While he was releaved to know that Kiri had not chose to destory the village, it didn't change the fact that if Kiri wasn't taken care of then other people would have to suffer. Nix had been sent to make sure that Irou accomplished this task and would remain with him until then. He began his travels and soon started to do street performances for money for the long journey.
Familar: Nix- The immature servant of the water god. Irou is the only one capable of seeing and hearing her. She has an open mind and is curious about the human world. She speaks her mind and says what she means but sometimes comes off as being a bit rude. Although the two sometimes don't get along, Irou can count on her to give him infomation about the current situation in the realm of gods. She serves no use in battle.
((Sorry if the profile is a bit lax, I had spent two hours doing this profile only to have the whole thing deleted after I got finished. This is basically a shorter version because I was too pissed off to do the whole thing over again.))
