Destrudo
09-29-08, 07:48 PM
This actually takes place in The Citadel, but isn't a proper two person or more Citadel fight, so I decided to make it here.

Destrudo had returned home from Chronus. It was a very enlightnening trip, for he learned he had two mothers and one Father. Unfortunatly his father was still Shadowlord, but his Mothers, one was the former Queen Irene of Lumos, and the other was N'jal, for she had taken over Irene's body with her spirit inorder to force Destrudo's creation, an act that gave Destrudo a small portion of her spirit and none of her blood. Since the Chronusian royal family powers ran through the blood, he got Queen Irene, and his father's powers as well. This made Destrudo likely to become the most powerful member of the family, in all of history, enhanced of course by N'jal's spirit. Her spirit was also why Destrudo glowed red.

He also learned that he was not the rightful heir to Lumos or Noctum as one might suppose, but instead the rightful emperor of the old empire of Chronus, and the very reason why N'jal forced Destrudo's birth, for her own devious reasons.

But that wasn't why he was here, at the citadel. While discovering who he really was, he learned that his least favorite Aibrone monk, Brother Onox, was really his uncle, and the twin brother of Pandemonium, keeper of Herusthema, capital of Chronus. He also learned that the two knew the truth all along and never told him.

So he decided to come along and see what else his uncle knew. When he arrived, he found a young woman of the order and immediately demanded his uncle.
"Ahh, His brother and he are in an arena conversing. He said you might be along and if you were, to show you in." The young woman said. She motioned for him to follow, and he was lead deep into the depths of the Citadel, all the way to the back, and shoved into an open door that was shut behind him.

Destrudo was confused, for he was standing infront of the citadel, looking out at a desolate empty Radasanth.

"Ahh, Destrudo, so nice to see you again." Onox and Pandemonium said at once.
"Cut the pleasantries, Uncles. I want to know why you never told me the truth." Destrudo said.
"Some truths are better found out on one's own." Onox said.
"I had to catch a ride with pirates and then rescue their captain after father kidnapped her. She went through hell in his castle." Destrudo yelled.
"Regrettable, but necessary." Pandemonium said.
"And then Father invaded Lumos looking for us after we escaped there." Destrudo said.
"He does that from time to time." Onox said
"Don't either of you care?" Destrudo asked.
"No, not really. Miss Darcy needed the experience for her own personal growth, and you needed to learn the truth the hard way in order to accept it." Pandemonium said nonchalantly.
"That's not right, I, I'm the rightful Emperor and I demand you both make amends to Darcy and her crew." Destrudo demanded.
Onox and Pandemonium looked at each other and chuckled.
"Why don't you come over here and make us, you don't yet realize how necessary some things are, and for somethings, you don't apologize." Onox said.
"I've been waiting for that invitation." Destrudo said grimly, and then charged down the steps at his uncles.

That was possibly his second mistake. His first was challenging his uncles knowing they were far more powerful than he was.

As Destrudo reached his uncles, their fists flew out with a speed Destrudo's eyes couldn't follow and they both punched him in the gut. Destrudo fell to his knees in pain.
Onox bent over and picked Destrudo up.
"Now why don't you be sensible about the whole affair?" Pandemonium asked.
Destrudo pulled his dagger out of his belt. Onox grabbed his wrist and yanked the dagger out of his hand.
"Don't play with knifes, someone might get hurt!" Onox said, bending the blade and crushing it into a pile of scrap.

Destrudo took off running into the city away from them, desperate to simply get away.
"Don't run away!" Pandemonium yelled out, as he took off running after Destrudo.

His uncles easily caught up and kept pace with Destrudo, they were after all five times faster than any ordinary human.
"You can't run from family, we'll always be there." Onox said.
Destrudo stopped running suddenly, the other two, who were watching him, and not where they were running, immediately tripped and fell into a fountain head first. Destrudo grinned, jumped in, and held their heads under.
This might be entertaining after all.
