What was your first character's name?

I've had Dirks for so long, I forgot how ridiculous my first characters were.

My first ever character was Bond_007 (yes, the legendary spy).
My first ORIGINAL character was Bob_the_Mercenary_Killer (he was exclusive to EOTF on Yahoo).
My first Althanas character was Axel Mazik (who sometimes makes cameos in my Gisela stints).

So what was your first character's name? Was it as dumb as mine?

Honestly, since before Althanas I've been using Witchblade as a name, or a username at least. The characters didn't always have the name of Witchblade, but uhh... let's see.

I think on Ochrama I had the registered account of Witchblade, but my character name was Eternity.

Oh God, I honestly can't even remember because a lot of the places I rp'ed at before Althanas did not require you to approve a profile, which meant I just made it up as I went. >.>

My first ever character I made in like elementary school. His name was Ziggy. He had red spiky hair and a lot of expensive cars. lol

My first ever character on Althanas was named Sorahn. LOL looking back that seems so dumb.

First character I ever played went by the name of Maph Kuffitabel; it was for my first and last game of D&D. Then it was Maph Vorfeed on The 4th Coming, which today sounds like Vore Fodder, disgustingly enough.

As for the first I've ever written with, it was Maph Necathys, a necromancer from some generic cabal of power. Afterwards, I just went by Necathys on every other forum, because let's face it, Maph was just silly. He was always some sort of silver-haired, golden-eyed and brave prettyboy with a dark past or a dark-haired, red-eyed badboy without a cause, always wielding some sort of rare magic.

Basically, all of the clichés. Oh, and one incarnation wielded the Power of Love. The one by Huey Lewis, not Celine Dion.

I've had Xos and Rahegalhoff since I first started RP'ing. Infact, Rahegalhoff is the oldest of all my characters, predating even my RP'ing start. I've always been rather proud of the name Rahegalhoff, because I've never found anything close to it, so it feels rather unique.

Actually Althanas has always required approved characters. The one that you could just write whatever was Allrpg's IV.

My first ever RP character was bahumut wannabe, and my first one on Althanas was a fellow named Seventeen, who I eventually modified here and there to become Kade.

I've been writing stuff down since the 2nd grade. But I have trouble remembering back that far to track the very first name for a character in a story I had so, we'll go with the nearest one to the front, I guess.

Malik was also a popular choice I had for characters before I retired the use of elves in most of the stuff I write.

Oh, good God....brings back cringeworthy memories for sure.

Can't remember my first original character, but the first one I ever RPed went by the name of Tamra Chandler, the biggest damn Mary Sue ever to hit the AOL chatrooms. Unfortunately, variatians of her name have stuck with me over the years in the form of usernames, eventually getting shortened by a few friends to Tams, which I now answer to in real life when I'm with the aforementioned friends.
Variations of THAT are so silly, I'm not even going to post them.


First character I ever used on Althanas was Peri Karui, who was not so long ago that some might not remember her. She was alright, I guess, but too weird to stick with.

First character ever was some guy named Seether. His only significant achievement was he killed a newbish Serilliant ICly in a battle, but lost OOCly by a rather large margin. Yeah, that long ago.

My second character, who I really consider my first official character of any form there of, is Koran. Whom now refers to himself as Jordhan. =)

My first-ever RP character was named Aneirin Gildas (I was really into Stephen Lawhead at the time.) That was on the AOL message board Castle Treline. Ashiakin was actually first very, very loosely conceived there as well. My first character on Althanas, back in early 2002, was Legeliwyn Aiel. His name later changed to Legeliwyn Ayel to avoid confusion with the Wheel of Time people the Aiel. He still exists under my current Wyn account, although I really rarely use him since he was basically a sidekick to Findelfin and Devon.

My first character? Oh geez, he was rather original, but full of cliché and fail.

It was a character named Temenius Barathrum (Also known as Temmy).
He was a Dragon/Demon/Human Hybrid (Mother was a Demon/Human, Father was a Dragon Changeling) So basically:

Human form sex.
Painful Birth
????
Cliché Hybrid!

After that, I moved onto a Hacker/Sniper character with low self esteem (But not the emo-cliché kind of self esteem) which, eventually, the hub I was playing in, was given new administration who basically screwed the whole thing up, telling players how and how they couldn't play their characters left right and center (And not in the good way that Althanas functions on).

Ended with me breaking into the administrative panel of their hub and removing the bad administrators from power using a bug in the moderator flag system. =/

I'm glad I grew up...Memories...

Now? Kially Gaith! A growing deity with no fear for anything natural, a dangerous obsession with dragons and an unfounded hatred for technology.

I roleplay with him knowing what a complete cliche he is. Since he is my first character ever I haven't lost my affection for him, just get bored once in a while.

I can't for the life of me remember who my first character was that I wrote with (back when the Rosc Boards were still awesome and had NeoRhydin), but my first character ever was one I made for DnD and never used: Zook Murnig, the gnome illusionist/rogue.

My first character on Althanas was Caduceus, though I used him first on GUA's Divine Salvation.

Shadowwalker which I used on the IV just slightly upgraded from journeyman to angel. Yes, an angel. He had the power to hold six foot swords one handed. Then I broke some rules by role-playing him as Kenshin. I guess I was bored one day and on the silver someone made a thread called role-play your character anyway you want, and I stuck with Kenshin instead of using my profile. I was a rebel.

--First character to write with? a big ripply muscled Earth mage/fighter with a huge sword named Damek Hilel.
--First character on GUA (which was when I got serious about writing) was a drow named Kalmenar Ar'Kaenan. Basically a Drizzt clone except he was raised by dwarves.
--After that on GUA came Vincent Eldulac - Half-Elf Bladesinger, Orleon - Elf Rogue
--Then I came here to Althanas and made Anenfel Saendithas - Half-Elf Wayfarer, Rathmar Hammerfist - outrageously tall Dwarf Warrior, then Braden Larn - certified FarmBoy, then I made Shisui Reijinku - Akashiman Ninja.

--On a Star Wars site I made a Zeison Sha named Talen D'aar
--On an X-Men site I made a 19 year old named Caleb Larkins who had Hyper Mutated Adrenal Glands, made him super strong, super fast, super smart and couldn't feel pain while under the effects. Oh and the adrenaline was black, so black tendrils would grow on his skin whenever using his power. I was particularly proud of him.
--And on another Fantasy site I made a Half-Halfing Ranger named Aram Lightfoot who has a huge wolf companion.

First character on here was Vincent Winterscar....heh, another Vincent...but my very first character EVAR was actually a girl. Says a lot about me, I know. Nicole her name was, and she was literally like Spawn met Devil May Cry. In order to survive she had to drink blood, but that was only so she could wield her powers, which were all mostly blood-based.
Man, she's come such a long way from then.

My first character, that a remember, was only made a few years ago. It was on a Star Wars site, and his name was Cody Ramirez Johnson. I kid you not. I still use him, in fact, on the very site in which he was created. I also rose from a member to a global moderator on that RP, so despite the name my character has grown considerably. He led an entire military branch in fact, and now owns a private security corporation staffed entirely by veteran special forces.

Well, I had two characters before Zieg consumed me. Haplo, who was a blatant ripoff of the Death Gate Cycle (many thanks to Max Dirks for not allowing that travesty to occur) and General Silvan and his awesome mouse Warrior. Then Zieg came along and has been large and in charge ever since.

Let's see...my first EVER character was Hamnat who wasn't really a character, mostly just my e-verse avatar. Then came Grunold a Merlin-like wizard but was only middle-aged unlike the cliche. I didn't use him for much more than I used Hamnat.

Then came Shenjara. She was my first REAL character, althanas or otherwise. She was my first real attempt at anything resembling romantic fantasy. All my other attempts were basically mythical fantasy.(for those of you who aren't literature buffs, romantic=slightly stronger/smarter humanoid hero; myth=god-moding hero). She was also my first attempt at characterization, all the other attempts had no depth to them and where just "HRA! Look how strong/smart/pretty I am!"
