Damien Avetritus Aequitas
Birthname: Daisuke Urahara
Race: Half Elf
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Violet
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 160 lbs.

Personality
Despite the disdain his hybrid status often brings, Damien believes himself superior to his peers, and is unfailingly confident in the fact. It is a very rare occassion to see him frantic or panicked, as he always keeps a calm, cool head in nearly every situation, always making certain to weigh his options accordingly. Despite his appearance as a graceful, intellectual man, Damien possesses a brutal side to his mind, which shows in his unflinchingness in the face of murder, and his personal racism, which extends to humans, Alerarian Dwarves, Raiaeran Elves, Akashiman Nekojin, and Dheathain Draconians. Damien has stated in the past that nothing would please him more than to see a genocide of these peoples.

Appearance
Damien has the exotic looks one would expect of a union between an elf and an Akashiman native; high cheek bones, cold almond shaped eyes, a sharp chin, sharp, peaked ears, athletic build, and a fair, pale complexion. If he were ever inclined to cover his ears, he would most likely be able to traverse his homeland with little prejudice, but he refuses to be ashamed of his heritage.

What further seperates him from his people are the fox spirit's eyes. Colored violet, an unnatural shade, the pupils take the form of two curved lines around one central straight line. Though they do not glow with an inner light, they stand out in the darkness clearly, even if the rest of his face is obscured in shadows.

The hybrid prefers dark clothing, his wardrobe often consisting of a hooded, wide sleeved black linen tunic, charcoal gray leather gloves, black leather breeches, a gray leather belt with a silver buckle, and charcoal gray traveling boots.

History
Daisuke Urahara was the product of a union between a wandering elven ranger and an Akashiman girl named Mitsuki Urahara, who had been working in a tea shop at the time. Mitsuki was smitten by the man's mystery and good looks, and was disappointed when he left two nights after their first and only passionate embrace. When she began to experience morning sickness and other symptoms of a pregnancy, she sought out medical help and discovered that she was, indeed, with child. Mitsuki struggled, and her plight drew the attentive attention of several kind-hearted suitors, who she rebuked here and there for various reasons. Some simply presented no attraction for her, some, she found, only wanted to be with her to gain a good standing in the community for taking on the responsibility of a young, unwed, and pregnant mother.

One piqued her interests, though; Toriyama Sekien, an artist of the same age as her. Toriyama was quick to please, and quick to defend her honor, but was not as he seemed to be. When Mitsuki gave birth to Daisuke, the artist revealed himself as a kitsune, stole the baby away, and created complicated illusions of the child and artist, which could talk, was warm to the touch, and was only discovered when the woman tried to feed the baby - and realized despite it's motion, it was taking none of her milk. The fox spirit, who was ancient and fading from this world, took Daisuke to the Shirayama mountains, and, upon completing a few rituals by firelight, strick the child's eyes out, and replaced them with his own, so that his magic would remain upon the world. Before leaving Althanas, he returned the strangely quiet infant to it's mother.

Daisuke was an insightful an introspective child who wanted only to read. When the other children teased him for not wanting to play, or for his ears, he terrorized them with illusions of hissing black snakes and hungry crows. As he grew older, he began to tell his mother of the distaste for the customers the tea house, which she now mysteriously owned, would receive. He had also begun to state his dislike of Akashima itself, and would destroy emblems of the nation if he could, usually by slashing them to peices with kitchen knives or burning them. His cruel, hateful behavior peaked when a samurai visiting the tea house told Mitsuki he'd rather drink horse piss than her rice wine. She gracefully rebuked him, but Daisuke locked his eyes onto the man, who realized his sheathed sword was oozing blood. Upon unsheathing it, the weapon began screaming accusations, and the warrior committed suicide the next day.

Now sure that the child, who was by this point in his teenage years, was a dangerous yōkai and no boy at all, the villagers swarmed the tea house and burnt it to the ground. Daisuke and Mitsuki fled into the forest, but was tracked by a pair of hunters. Mitsuki was killed by an arrow through the heart, and the boy tore it free, thinking it would save her. The hunters came upon them, and Daisuke used his eyes to make them think the woman had risen as a ghoul. During their panic, the boy stabbed them both lethally in the throat with the arrow they'd used to kill his mother. He took her body and buried her on the slopes of the Shirayama mountains, swearing vengeance and taking a new name...

Damien Avetritus Aequitas.

Skills/Abilities
Illusions - Damien's primary skill is the creation of visual and audial illusions. The hybrid has no need for complicated spell weaving or incantations; all he needs to do is establish eye contact with his victims. As he is still inexperienced in the use of illusion casting, Damien can only affect sight and hearing, and may only force the effects on one person at a time, and create only one illusion of each sense at a time. For instance, Damien could create an illusory clone of himself that is capable of speech. While the upkeep of this illusions is only slight taxing, a sufficient blow to his head could cause it to dispel.
[These can be resisted by levels higher than Damien - the stronger a PC is, the less effective.]

Empathy - Damien is able to psychically sense other's emotions, and in a crowded space, this can be especially crippling to him, as it could cause him to be influenced by emotions not his own, and at the worst, temporary insanity.

Psychokinesis - Perhaps due to the unique biochemistry of his half blood brain, Damien is a psychokinetic of burgeoning power. He is capable of mild levitation (no more than six inches off of the ground), the manipulation of objects (which entails lifting things and directing their motion without touch; this has a weight limit of twenty pounds), the creation of energy blades (deals no more damage than an iron sword would), and the creation of force fields (which can withstand only light amounts of damage, such as a punch from a person of average strength). Damien is only capable of multi-tasking (i.e. creating a force field and slashing at a person with a kinetic blade) only with great concentration - meaning he must be standing still.

Equipment
Damien always carries the steel arrow head that killed his mother around in a small pouch fastened to his belt, but aside from that, he has nothing but his clothes.

Illusions can be resisted by people that are higher level than you, since that's always a tricky thing to use. As well, Psychokinesis should have something more of a limit. I need you to remove two of these: Mild levitation, manipulation of Objects (which needs a bit of a description as to what you mean to use if for if you keep it), or Force Blast.

Edited.

The manipulation of objects is something like...picking up a rock at a short distance without having to touch it.

I cut down the levitation's height, which I hope will be acceptable instead of out right removing it. Force blasts are removed, as they were a second thought, anyway.

That's fine, I would ask that you keep the length and width of the blades to that of a normal blade. You might not be able to multi-task while moving, but making a blade as thick as a shield would be little different than having a shield and sword imo. Other than that. Your edits are fine, didn't realize what you meant by manipulation of objects apparently.

Good luck and welcome to Althanas.
