Personality: Woody is just an easy-going guy, except he’s a tree. He is very kind, and is usually slow-moving with no sense of urgency. He is generous and easy to get along with. He is, however, quite easily angered, and goes on complete destructive rampages whenever this happens. He is not shy of public places, as some trees are. Though he is a tree, Woody is just as capable of being harmed as any armored human.
Appearance: He looks like a regular white pine tree. Keep in mind that he is not like an ent, and he has no face or irregular qualities in his appearance. He moves at a fairly slow pace, his stump softly dragging against the ground. People are initially weirded out by his looks, because he is just a regular old tree that moves.
History: He is the son of Cornelius Longfellow Burlington, Jr., who was originally a regular, stationary white pine. Cornelius was possessed by a demented wood nymph before his son was born. He was a bit crazy due to his possession, and moved from the forest that he had always called home. He then had a sapling, who was, of course, Woody. Woody roamed the land, and was raised differently than most normal trees. He inherited a few traits from his father, too, such as his bad temper and his self defense mechanisms.
Skills: First and foremost, Woody has the ability to light himself on fire at will. This flame does not hurt him, but is capable of severely damaging opponents. However, he can only summon this inferno four times a day for one minute per time.
Also, Woody has no face, so he sees in all directions of himself at all times. He speaks through his mind to others, but is in no way telepathic. He can perform regular, non-complex functions with his “limbs”, such as picking up, throwing, pushing, pulling, and grabbing, but only from very short distances.
Equipment: The only things he carries are his coin purse and his tinderbox, which he keeps somewhere within the depths of his needles.
