Hello everybody,

I was searching for a way to improve my writing, when chance brought me to Althanas. I have never rped by post before but it seems interesting and fun. So please let me know if I'm doing something wrong. I am currently reading about the different regions and am trying to find a good place within which to fit my character.

Well, on top of althanas being a play by post forum, we're also a writing workshop and strive hard to help people improve upon the skills they already have. The most important thing someone can tell you here is not to be discouraged by the scores that completed/submitted threads receive when judged. If you take the advice and look at it as it is meant to be viewed, constructive criticism meant to help you improve, you'll do fine. Don't look at it as the judge knocking you down.

Also, if you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask them here or PM one of the moderators. Each region has it's own specific writer, so if you want to ask something about one of them, PM that writer. If you don't know who that writer is, you can always ask, almost all the members know the specific writers.
