Alrighty! Winners are in!

I've decided upon three winners, each for a specific category.

Parody: Tristam, for taking upon my enthusiasm to help people get Haiku'ing right.
Comedy: Fauna, for her rather amusing Haiku about her ample bosoms.
Serious: BlackAndBlueEyes for beautifully capturing a moment in the true essence of a Haiku without violence.

Congratulations to the winners!

____

Hey there, I'm Kially (Or Danny, if you want my real name!) I'll be one of your event coordinators for the duration of this competition! If you have any questions or issues, feel free to contact myself or any one of our excellent staff members here!

____

The event I've prepared for you lucky lads and lasses is the following:

Write a Haiku either describing or about your character!

The reward for the winner is 1 Fate Point! I'll be judging this and selecting my favorite as the winner.

A haiku, for those whom are not familiar, is an Asian form of poem or lyric
formed by a total of 17 syllables, built together in the form of 5-7-5.

I have provided my own example as follows:
______

Tasty dragon snack
small sweet delicious and moist
crunchy crunchy crunch
______

To better illustrate the form of a Haiku, I have broken it down into a simplified form.
With each syllable separated in a word by a hyphen.

Ta-sty dra-gon snack (5)
small sweet de-lic-ious and moist (7)
crunch-y crunch-y crunch (5)

Haikus' do not have to have punctuation, it is the choice of the writer and his or her personal opinion whether such is required!

I submit here, yes? Alright, I'm terrible at poetry but here it goes:

Goblin Lice Grumalth
He'll make you want to say "Arrgh,
arrgh, please no stop please"
This one is a bit of self-mockery for having such an absurd dichotomous character...

You can probably just ignore my submissions since I'm going to change it thousands of time, no doubt ^^

May I remind all posters that a Haiku is a post made up of syllables, not words. 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables. For those of you whom are unsure, a spoken word consists of syllables.

The word 'syllable' itself is made up of three, syl-la-ble. That word used in a Haiku would consist to three of your limit for any line.

Thanks guys. Keep up the great posts.

Yeah, another fun one will be up very very soon! (Possibly in the next two hours if my designing talents aren't eaten by a game I'm writing up the full dialogue of a quest for.)

Thanks for the entries guys! You were all great. Just what I expected of writers on a writing forum, then again!

OMG! I so totally won! I can't believe it!

*hugs the whole citizen of Althanas and tries to smother them with her heaving bosoms!*

Um, I would like to thank Tristam, my Tazlure mod, for magickaly augmenting this...

*points to her bozangers*

... And this...

*points to her red, pouted lips*

... And this...

*points to her perfect nose*

But most of all, I would like to thank my fellow cheerleading squad back in the University of Magick for totally believing in me as their captain! And being the most popular girl in the Campus and the President of my sorority, we will open our Sorority house in the University of Magick for a night of pure fun! We'll have lots of one on one ORAL... um... discussions and lots of Wet Corset Competition!

*teehee*

TAZLURE FTW!
