Name: Aleksey Mikhail Rozhdestvensky
Nickname: "Suka"
Age: 20
Race:Human
Hair color: Dark Brown
Eye color: Brown
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 140 lbs.
Occupation: Soldier in the U.S.S.R.'s 13th Field army, 97th Rifle division.
Appearance: With the face of a boy and the grin of a sadist, most find Aleksey an untrustworthy soul fit for his occupation. His body has been both scarred and sculpted by battle, giving him a lean look and a mean sprint whenever needed. His hair is kept short and hidden beneath hat and helmet whenever possible, and his eyes are sharp pits of brown that seem to pull people into his heart shaped face.
Having been transported to the tournament moments before inspection, he wears a full Soviet soldier parade uniform in dark green with brown accents, a lighter colored shirt, and a brown tie. Completed with a starred hat and black boots; he may not blend into his environments entirely anymore, but looks damn good anyway.
Personality: Unstable and reckless, he relishes in warfare to the point of ecstasy. Mercy is an unknown word for the soldier, being completely desensitized to carnage. However, his skill in battle more than makes up for the bravado and drama he brings to the stage.
History: Aleksey Mikhail Rozhdestvensky was born in 1935, just outside of Leningrad in the U.S.S.R., the second son to a drunken father and a submissive housewife. He was always a strange boy, spending time outside the shambles of his home in a small copse where crows tended to flock. He fed them what few crumbs he could spare, and seemed enthralled by their clever nature and perception of the world around them.
Things changed during the Great Patriotic War (World War Two) however, when the Soviet union was invaded by the Fascist Nazi forces. As Leningrad came under siege, Aleksey's older brother Dmitri, a student at the time, joined the volunteer army that began to form there. Huddled in the city as shells and bombs hit the city every day, the young boy felt trapped, and worried for the safety of his older brother. As the siege lifted and the Red Army marched towards Berlin, Dmitri marched with them towards the capital, where he was killed in some of the toughest urban combat in human history.
Devastated, Aleksey became even more reserved. That was until age 14, where he was recruited into a Soviet experimental program by a Colonel who had led and fought with his older brother. The officer saw in the young boy, a strange gift to communicate with the crows, who had been swarming around Leningrad ever since the battle ended those years ago.
Military funded and operated, it was a harsh life for the boy as he was taught English for the first time, as well as math and sciences, and the all important tactics. During the night, he and the other subjects engaged in vigorous training to expand their abilities and to make them efficient killing machines. It was here that Aleksey gained the nickname "Suka," or "bitch," because of his complete obedience to his instructors, and it was this nickname that caused him to lash out at an older cadet, twice his size.
He was expelled from the program at 16 for murder, the cadet's body had been scavenged by the ravenous birds who followed the boy around. However, because he was still a good soldier, and turned out to be a fine shot, the army saw fit to reassign him to the 13th field army, 97th rifle division, where he trained even harder in the art of a sniper.
Skills:
-Marksman: (Almost Mastered) Aleksey is an incredible shot with his rifle and sidearm, scope or not, and very rarely misses a stationary target. However, even the best make mistakes, despite what the man would have you believe.
-CQC: (Excellent) The soldier is an excellent knife and hand-to-hand fighter. However, despite knowing how to sneak up, fight, and disarm an opponent, he is still just human.
-Tactical/Survial: (Very Good) When it comes to finding hiding spots, using stealth, or using the environment to his advantage, Aleksey is well trained, if not a little rusty from lack of practice.
-Medical: (Basic) He can stop some wounds from bleeding if he has spare clothe, and knows how to apply a splint or bandage. Beyond that, he's clueless.
Ability:
Telepathy: Roughly 10 birds follow Aleksey, and through them he can see the environment. What they see and hear, he sees and hears, and they warn him to impending danger in his area, as well as scout surrounding areas for him. These birds will not risk their lives, however. They will only attack a severely wounded opponent, and only out of hunger and not by Aleksey's will.
Equipment:
-Mosin Nagant model 1891/30 rifle, with Px PE Scope. With scope, and with good winds and excellent conditions, Aleksey can make a shot at over 950 meters. Holds a clip of five bullets.
-Two clips (10 bullets)
-TT-33 semi-automatic Pistol, standard issue Post-WW2 sidearm. Holds 8 rounds.
-One Clip (8)
-NR-40 Combat Knife, based on a design used for years by the criminal underground, the Soviet's changed the design during the winter war against Finland, when they realized their soldiers didn't have standard combat knife.
-Parade Uniform
-Basic clothe bandages (x2)
-Food rations (x2)
-Coffee ration (x1)
