I just joined, so I wanted to introduce myself and also ask a few questions.

Along with me a few of my friends from Celestia will join in such a way that our histories will be connected allowing us to belong to a same group. I was wondering what is the possibility of making such a House/Clan/ or Power Group as we start.

Also, my character is icy and supposedly a member of royalty. I was wondering about the possibility of having my own palace in a secluded place, preferably hidden and unknown(wish would explain why hasn't it been revealed to any other character as of yet) of the frozen wastelands of Northern and central Salvar.

I also have a suggestion for the forum. That the profiles once finished be graded when approved, meaning judging by its quality adding experience or levels. This way effort on the profile can rewarded, just like the effort on the posts. This is because I am concerned of how much would I have to eliminate from my profile.

I believe you can have a palace as long as you don't abuse it and have Palace guards Deus Ex Machina a battle or things like that. I've seen a few royal characters with such things but you will have the same starting gold and equipment.

A clan/powergroup is easily established by simply registering it. You may also quest for a 'Clan Headquarters' as a reward, this could be your palace and provided the mods say you're good to go, in the region/s you request.

As for the registering thing? No. That is a bias against less skilled writers. We are a community that keeps everything pretty equal. Extremely well written and original profiles get a very very small exp boost for the actual profile, but other than that, there are no rewards for a kickass profile, just the self reward in knowing that your profile is indeed kickass, that and making it a joy for everyone else to read.

Post Summary: You'd be better to quest for the palace ownership (It can already exist, but to make it official, you're gonna have to quest, much like I had to do for Kiallys' shrine).

The Powergroup thing shouldn't be that hard. Just read the information on such and go ahead and form it.

Geographically speaking, if we were to allude it to some place similar to Finland or up there in Arkhangelsk, a faraway country ruled by a monarchy isn't that hard to explain. Of course, most of its economy would be in trade or fishing since agriculture is near impossible to establish without the benefit of a greenhouse.

Of course, if you want to do some research, check the Wikipedia entry for Arkhangelsk (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkhangelsk).

Northern Salvar by the sea sounds like a good place, since continental Salvar might be a little too "icy" to establish a human settlement.
