Name: Eltarri Jordel
Age:17
Race:Human/ Dark Elven
Hair Color:Dark brown
Eye Color:Amber
Height:5.5
Weight:110
*Occupation: No job, but she is on a quest . . . see History.

*Personality: Having lived her entire life in seclusion with her elven mother, Eltarri bases her actions on what she has gleaned from reading books and her mother's instruction and stories. She is terribly nervous and shy, but she refuses to let her own cowardice prevent her from accomplishing her goals.

Appearance: Short and slight of build with a slightly larger-than-average head and pointed but not ginormous elfen ears. Eyes are slanted and large, mostly filled with ocher irises. Mid-back length hair worn tied back, either in ponytail or braid, long bangs used to hide unusual eyes.
Clothing: maroon and black color scheme; red gauntlets, black calf-high, turn-down boots, black belt, red sleeveless bodice and form-fitting pants, black wide-sleeved jacket. Has a red harness strapped across chest for carrying massive, scabbard-less sword on her back.

Skills: Can wield massive sword, but only in defense for now.Very strong-willed, which helps her to somewhat resist magic and mental attacks. Charm spells and mind-control are reduced in power by about 10% at present level. Magic attacks are more likely not to work when used against her, there's about a 5% chance that any spell or rune or magic-using attack will completely fail. Magic attacks that hit are reduced in damage by 15%. Natural defenses do not apply when opponent is a magic-wielder at level 2 or above.

Equipment: Black iron broadsword, magical bracers that only enable usage of the sword.

History:A Dragon-Warrior by the name of Halek Manne once served his country by caring for the dragons therein; either destroying the evil ones or protecting the benign. One day, upon travelling through an elven village in search of a wayward wyvern, he glimpsed and immediately fell in love with a Light Elven noble by the name of Treya Jordel.
Being human, his attempts to win her as a bride failed, denied by her family, who wanted to keep their bloodline pure. Overcome by love, he went to a sorceress, who agreed to transform him into an elf so that he could marry his beloved. The sorceress, however, was evil, and only did it because she was madly in love with him herself. Halek had known this and had rather stupidly tried to trick her into tranforming him gratis, hinting at possible romance after his current "mission" was complete.
So Halek went and marries the elf, posing as the rich son of an elven merchant. The evil sorceress caught wind of Halek's deception and, in a much-regretted explosion of rage, transported him to an alternate shadow plane (she didn't even know which one) and converted Treya and the infant Eltarri to darkness.
Treya, naturally a good elf, was forced to leave her family and move underground, as her family now rejected her for her red eyes and dark skin. She spent her life fighting the evil that the spell cast into her soul, training her daughter to also withstand the instinctive evil that the sorceress had placed in their hearts. But the fight for goodness proved too much even for the strong-willed Treya . . .
Now Eltarri is a young woman, completely alone after her mother imprisoned herself in the bowels of the mountains before the evil inside her overwhelmed her and transformed her into a lich. She carries a huge sword strapped to her back that belonged to her father and magical bracers that enable her to wield the massive weapon. Without them, the slight girl would never be able to even lift the sword, but with the bracers she is even able to fight with it, the bracers instructing her body as needed to defend herself.
Eltarri does not wield magic, since her mother thought it would be too much of a risk to teach her to use the innate power that resides within her. Her life is a constant struggle against the evil that lives inside of her, and now she looks for a cure, desparate to save her mother and herself, and daring to hope that she might somehow find a way to save even her father.

Glad you caught the fact that you weren't approved yet, in that quest you've got going :p Don't worry, it won't take long to get approved and start writing!

For resisting mental and magical attacks, please edit in just how good her resistance is. It can't be very good at level 0, of course, but I'd like to know the extent of this skill.

For her equipment, we only allow steel or iron weapons at registration, so that dragon scale sword will have to be changed. I'll let you keep the bracers if their only magical power is allowing usage of the sword.

I like your history :) Quite imaginative and fun!

Changes made, character updated. Hopefully, my dragon scale sword will be able to make its way back to her arsenal at a higher level. :D

For the magical resistence, please limit it so that spells far above her level can't be resisted. Same with any charm abilities. That'll keep it fair for high level characters who battle yours :D

Everything looks good. When you're approved, you can always quest and then try to obtain the dragon scale sword as a spoil :)

How about if she's not resistant to magic attacks by level 3 and higher?

And how do I know when I'm fully approved? Do I get to learn a secret handshake?:D

Eh... level 2 sounds better to me. Level 3 is still pretty hard to get to :)

And when you're approved, I close this thread and move it to an archive! And I'll post 'Approved' or something. It won't take long ;)
