Ramirez

I screwed up a little bit for the timeline of this character; Ramirez wasn't supposed to lose an arm until a little later. However, evidenced by my profile, I had a complete slip of mind (I believe I was smoking and watching Pirates of the Carribean when I decided to put the old man back up), and put the info up in the registration.

So, my current idea is to use our handy liquid time mechanic, and have a fight in The Citadel, in which his opponent slices that arm right off. I don't know how or why the monks don't just heal that back up, but in the resolution, Ramirez becomes one armed to match his one eye.

What you have to do, as a potential maimer, is simply have a character who's strong enough to do it, or have a weapon sharp enough to cut through the crap holding the limb to the body. Also, the old man is going to have a grudge on your character for the rest of his very long life. Also, I'd like it if you were an active member, of course. I promise to remain prompt with my own replies.

EDIT: I would have tried one of the heirarchs of the Pagoda, but I think most of them are busy with the ToC.

If you don;'t want to lose it in a battle but lose it to a homicidal serial killer mistress of pain who loves dark streets and possibly help her further her own aims...than try me.

I don't have a character up who would do this right now, but I'd like to make a suggestion:

Instead of fighting in the Citadel why not have the battle take place during the course of a story? The opposing character leaves with the assumption that Ramirez died, but the old man is saved by NPC X or player character Y, who nurses him back to health. As you've said the Monks are supposed to heal your character in the end. If they refuse to do it then the blame lies more with them than his opponent.

Just a thought, have fun with it or disregard. I hope your thread goes well.
