The sun slinks towards the horizon and the shadows grow long as Galedeep strides through the cobbled streets of the Bazaar. He's spent all day looking for it but it just hasn't shown itself yet. Finaly he spots a shop with a sign proclaiming to have all that an adventurer needs. The door creaks as he enters the dimly lit shop. Looking around there is displays filled with packs, weapons and utilites.
Maybe this place will have what I'm after

"Hello, is anyone here?"

The shopkeeper emereges from the back of the store and looks at me quizzicly.

"I'm after two things. Firstly I'd like an adjustment to my harness hear. Instead of my swords hanging from my waist I'd like a sort of crossed peice on my back so their out of the way when running but easily accesable. And secondly if you can, these guantlets of mine are fine for proectection but they lack omph, if you get my meaning. If it's possible I'd like to have a spring blade inserted into them for close combant where my swords become combersome. Something rectractable that can be released with the pressing of a lever or some such device. Can you do it?

Standing up and sitting down, waiting and waiting. That's all she did nowadays. Nothing seemed to excite a new adventure to think about all the tools they would need. Nope, nowadays they all seemed to want to run off for adventure and come crawling back half beaten to death. So it was to her surprise when the door bell chimed and she moved to the front. The gentleman spoke what his needs were, and then she began to write on a piece of parchment what would need to be done.

"Okay, the harness, well..." she eyed it carefully. "Ya I could work with that." She said confidently scribbling on her note. "As for what needs to be done, I think nothing fancy is in order to get the job done, just an extension of the leather and small iron ring to keep it tight. Shouldn't cost ya more than fifty gold coins." She breathed a moment examining the gloves from afar.

"Leather Gauntlets huh?" she whistled in despair. "Do-able, trust me it is, but my concern is repeated use would rip the leather." She bit her lip and moved a piece of hair from the front of her face. "Okay, add a few labor expenses...what tier did you need the blade to be sir?" She asked smiling as she sketched the designs for his new weapon.

Watching the quill fly across the partchment as the design took form was amazing. "Hmmm, rip you say? Well that would become, an annoyance, perhaps if they where made of iron or stell, with a slit for the blade to come through, with enough clerance on wither side so as not to dull the blade or wear down the guantlets, that may solve the problem of wear and tear. As to the blades themselves, then steel would be most suitable" Gal looked around at the assortment of weapons on display as he waited for the store keeper to re-design his request.

The quill danced across the page with a cat like grace as she pondered over everything for a moment. Than with a definitive nod she looked at materials and labor. She did some math in the corner of the page and concluded after enough thinking that this would not be cheap. She drew up her ordering sheet and scribbled the new price down and handed him the paper. "Okay the total for everything will come out to 170 gold coins. I decided to charge you labor for only the gauntlets and not for the harness." She smiled happily.

"Now I would like to talk to you about a special offer we promote to guarantee out wares for you. For only eighteen gold pieces if your new gauntlets fail to perform their duty within a year and half of this purchase date, bring it back with this paper and we will repair it for free, or, scrap the metal and refund you in store credit for an upgrade or other such tools you may need." She smiled confidently. "I Highly recommend it for an adventurer such as yourself could use the extra reassurance."

She waited patiently for his reply.

((So what this means for you is for an extra 18 GP, for up to level one and half if this new item breaks due to use in a battle by an opponent I'll refund you the amount in store credit or repair it for free. If you have it broken on you own volition I will repair it replace it or refund it if you score at least a 63 on your thread.))

"Well such a good offer, how could a good adventurer refuse?" he says with a wry smile. "I'll take the warranty as well, but I doubt such workmanship as your's would break anytime soon."

She smiled deeply taking the coins and turning to her co-workers.

"MAKE IT HAPPEN BOYS!" She shouted with foreman like authority.

Four days later inside a wooden box with a neat purple padding rested the freshly smelted gauntlet. Without much more thought she smiled placing the rules and stipulations for the warranty on the inside and patted it lightly as she handed it over. "Thank you for your business, and please do come back again!" she said lightly.

Holding the guantlets up to the light his finger lightly taps the release and milliseconds latter a razor sharp steel blade springs out. Strapping them to his forearms he takes the leather harness and removing his twin blades from his belt and slides them into the new harness and straps it onto his back. Shiffting the weight around and getting a feel for his new equipmet he turns to face the shop keeper. "Mam, this is wonderfull, it will serve me well, I thank you." He bows at the waist and strides out the door towards that horizon.
