Hey there. I'm just wondering - is there anybody playing a Prince/King, or an aristocratic/noble or just plain very rich character on here? My Jester girl's looking for employment, and I'd love to plot a quest or suchlike with one. You don't have to employ her or anything (I don't want money or whatever) but it would be nice to start her out in that kind of way, I think.
Of course, if you did want to employ her, that would be fine too!

Well f you want to join a traveling actress...

That could definitely be an option while she's looking for employment. She's not much of an actress, but she can do acrobatics and tell stories and drop flaming torches...

Cool, and I can kill people....I mean entertain them with performances.

This could be the start of an interesting partnership then! This could be really helpful, actually, she could do with some street-performing and the like to earn some dosh.
I'd still like to find an aristocrat or preferably Prince/King to kick-start my character with, though.

There isn't anything to prevent you of making a Quest about her search for employ and dealing with others wishing to part an NPC Noble from their easily squanderable cash. Actually that sounds rather enjoyable. But no need to feel restrained by a lack of PC Nobles.

Yes, I suppose that's true - I could easily make up a nice nobleman or prince and write about that; but for my first quest, I'm a little nervous to make it a solo. I would really like to meet another player; that way it opens up more possibilities for plotting later on perhaps. Am I making sense? I'm terrible at explaining things sometimes.

Well as I said, you could make it something of a competitive quest, two performers looking to get the cash from the Noble, in the regards to the Actress perhaps she wants a quiet investment for a writer she knows of... and then scarper with the cash, while the Jester wants steady employ, but the noble will only put forth cash for a single bit of frivilous entertainment.
Might even get in on it myself, wandering performers are typically in need of a few coins.

Could do something like that....in fact, that could even be a Battle.
A rather unconventional battle, agreed, but battle enough to make a fight.
Hmm.
I'm rather interested now. It could be quite fun to try...
But I still would like to RP with a Prince/Nobleman, haha. Call me stubborn; the shoe fits well enough.
Destrudo, one of my alts, is the crown prince of Noctum, a country shrouded in eternal night. He's also the crown prince of Lumos, a country basked in eternal day. They exist in the exact same geographical location one existing by day, the other by night, because their both halves of the same empire, Chronus. (long story)

I have a character who is a Baroness in a barony in the countryside of Corone --- Baroness Luca Terlios of Snowdale. She's a bit of a bitch, but nothing too terrible... okay maybe sorta terrible... I haven't actually written anything with that character ever so it'd be a bit of an exercise.

That sounds absolutely fab! I'd love to quest sometime, if you like?

Again; that sounds great! If you're feeling up to the exercise, it would be really awesome to quest together :)

Well then, we can quest just as soon as we have a reasonable sounded quest rolled up together.

I'll get with you soon then for a quick rundown of ideas and we'll get started when you're ready. I'll try to provide you with a link to that character's profile shortly, via pm.

@Destrudo; well - an easy way for it to start would be for Maia to be lookin' for a job. You got an IM we can discuss it with? hee, I love plotting.
@Slavegirl; your character looks awesome! I love her design. I can't wait to quest. You got an IM, or shall we use PMs? Eehh, I'm all excited about it now.
I have Aim, but I also work overnights, so, good luck getting ahold of me. My aim screen is Hoyrel.
(Xos is another character of mine, but one unsuited to your idea. -Destrudo)
