so how fast have any of you cranked out a thread or battle?

That is beyond amazing, the divinity, it is gouging my eyes out. Though I've recently heard of only a mere account of a couple of hours at most.

Now let me scramble back into my dark corner, which I like to call the Lair ov Hatred and Krieg.

I once did a battle in a half an hour or so. 12 posts or so. I believe it was with Venn, back in the day. It was the lowest scoring thread I have ever done. Actually I don't think I was even rewarded any exp.

Is it still recommended battles go 10 or more posts?

You know what, I don't think it was with Venn. Too bad Althanas went poop on all its history.

Ten is still technically the minimum post count, though I've heard of occasions where 10k words also qualify.

I've done a few marathons-of-posting, they're a lot of fun on a night when I'm staying in. I think I've done about five or six quests/battles of that nature, most of which scored about average. Fun stuff!

It's fun when the person you are writing with and you have nothing better to do. Diss and I both finished two battle in two nights based on the fact we had nothing to be alert for in the morning.

Sighter and I did a whole battle (with actual complete sentences and normal length paragraphs) in a single night once. It ended up being one of our better threads. I don't think it's accessible anymore, though.
