Personality: Toshiyokan is fierce in battle, and friendly and respectful outside of it. She keeps very few secrets and doesn't lie to anyone. She is also an absolute bear in the morning, until her morning exercise. She is a teacher type and motherly sort, always ready with a kind word or encouragement (Except first thing in the morning). She tends to get excited and is a reclusive and moody drunk. It's best to just leave her alone then.
Appearance: Toshiyokan Uroki is approximately five feet six inches tall, with a stocky build and lightly tanned skin. Her hair is brown and, when loose, hangs to just below her shoulder blades. However it's normally pulled back into a bun except for twin braids which hang down to frame her round face. Her eyes are a deep, earthy brown and her lips almost red.
She traditionally wears a purple yukata with a lilac obi, white tabi and zouri with lilac hanao. Along with this she wears a sling for her naginata, and a sheath for her shakusen.
History: Raised with six older brothers, she was trained in the arts of Naginata (Glaive), and Shakusen (Decorative fan with razor sharp steel ribs). She now travels, using her talents and abilities to protect the innocent and battle other warrors to improve her skills.
Skills: She is quite average with her Shukusen and above average with her naginata. She also possesses a knowledge of lore and legend from most races due to a love of reading as a child. On top of this she can recognize and use a great deal of herbs and plants for healing purposes.

Naginata: the naginata, or glaive, is a pole arm. A teak staff cut to the wielder's height, with a steel bease. It's capped with a blade of steel, approximately three feet.
Shukusen: The shakusen is a large silk fan with a frame of steel. The tips of it's ribs are razor sharp and it can be used for both slashing when open, and stabbing, when closed.
There is an old Japanese proverb related to the shukusen: Beware the women of the warrior class, for they are both beautiful and deadly.
Equipment: Aside from her glaive and shakusen, she carries equipment to maintain them. Polishing cloth, sharpening stone, wood and metal oil etc. A spare kimono, tabi, zori and sash set (Obi, Obiage and Obijime) provides a change of clothes. Aside from that she has standard camping equipment, futon, blanket and flint and steel.
She also carries a basic herb collection, containing:
Yarrow, to stop blood flow and cause clotting
Willow, to reduce fever
Lavender, to induce sleep
Broomweed, to wake from a faint
Aloe, for burns and abrasions
Babantsi, for dressing wounds
Yellow Coneflower, for poison ivy and chest pains
