My first character (Yari) started out uber-vague with no abilities and just a spear and has grown quite a bit. He was always the most fun as well. While I've had other successful characters, all of them had strict abilities and seemed to planned out and eventually vanished.

Did the same thing with Vincent. In fact, I recently just took away several abilities and spoils he got from quests so I could have him go back to that simple state. I agree, its a good approach. I think you'll go far here, Flynn.
