Name: Acropisies (Ack-crop-ih-seas)
Age: Unknown, though guessed to be at least a few hundred
Race: Some sort of rock-beast
Hair Color: No hair
Eye Color: Black
Height: 7’8”
Weight: 673 lbs
Occupation: Writer

Personality: Defined modestly as a gentle giant. He is relatively soft-spoken, though when angered has a tendency to overuse his great strength. His voice is very deep, almost so much so that it takes on a gentle grumble. Acropisies is eager to make friends, though his outward appearance sometimes makes it difficult. He has a high sense of moral justice, preferring his own code over that of lawmakers, who may be corrupt or tainted by power.

Acropisies is intelligent and his kindness belies his outward appearance. He does his best to keep his physical form out of his mind and prefers to think of himself as any other person. His true passion is writing and he hopes to one day write a novel. Good-spirited and strong-willed, Acroposies is loyal to a fault to those he trusts, and quick to forgive those who do him wrong.

Appearance: Stands 7’1” and weighs 673 pounds. His body is completely coated in a dark gray coat. It seems to bend and move with him, as though it were his skin. That said, however, it is still solid as rock. It serves as a sort of armor for him. His stance is more akin to that of a monkey, in that his arms hang about to around his knees. His arms grow outward in size, so that his hands almost appear as big gloves. He only wears a thin sheet around his waist, though it is unknown if he actually hides anything under it. His legs seem somewhat small by comparison even though is balance is impeccable.

In terms of his face, his eyes almost appear sad, even when he is not. They are gentle and black and seem to provide most of the expression he needs. His jaw is wide and powerful, and usually his face is relaxed. He has no ears or hair to speak of, only the granite-like crust that coats the rest of his body.

History: Acropisies has been around for ages, though he has no true knowledge of his past, nor does he care much. His oldest memory is that of himself under the tutelage of an elderly fellow, his name Nelethomis. This gave Acropisies a parental figure, even though Nelethomis is undoubtedly younger than Acropisies. Still, the two bonded quickly. “Your skin is like rock, and mine is like leather,” the old man would joke with him. For a while, Acropisies had no name, and the two were content with that. Eventually, however, Nelethomis dubbed him Acropisies after a favorite philosopher that he had studied. Pleased to be named after such a scholarly figure, Acropisies believed that he himself must try to live up to such an honorable title.

His natural talent appeared to be writing, which he had a great love for. Hours on end would be spent creating stories and adventures that he cooked up in his mind, which Nelethomis would later read over and edit. Soon, however, Acropisies found himself growing bored of such a simple life. He ran out of original stories to write and found that he would be better off venturing into the world to discover his own story. The idea of chronicling other adventurers stories as well seemed intriguing to him.

Upon telling Nelethomis his idea, the old man seemed a bit skeptical. The real world was harsher than Acropisies understood. It took a bit more convincing before the elder consented that venturing out into the world would do him some good. So with little more than what his master had taught him, Acropisies embarked upon his own journey that he could one day pass on.

Skills:
Like A Rock- Acropisies skin is naturally stone-like due to his race, and has numerous effects on him. It can withstand minor magical attacks and minor projectiles, though concentrated force on a specific spot will cause his skin to crumble away. He also does not typically eat food, as his body does not require it. His movement is also slightly impaired.

Erosion- Water has a rather adverse effect on him. It weakens his skin and makes him more susceptible to magical and projectile attacks.

Rock Hard Muscles- Acropisies inner composition gives him impressive strength (approximately 500lbs with moderate ease.) His endurance is slightly above average as well, though as previously mentioned his movement is slightly slower than a normal person.

Equipment: None

Keep in mind, equipment also covers traveling necessities. If you have anything like a charm or something you wish for your character to have, feel free to add it, otherwise this profile is fine.
