I haven't officially been accepted yet, but I figured I'd get a head-start on entrenching myself in the Althanas community by posting a greeting thread.

What to tell you all about myself...I'm a freshman in college, BSE in English. Having a blast so far. I'm a big fan on MMO's as well as fantasy novels. I'm not quite sure how to describe myself...take a nerd and a sports buff (though I play no sports seriously) and smash them into one and you'll have me, I guess.

Once you've all finished reading my little intro and gotten past my inherent boyish charm, I hope you'll see fit to say hello and write a few stories with me.

I am pretty partial to Smash, at least I was. I was a big Lucario player. However, that kinda fell by the wayside as I did bring my Wii with me to college and elected instead to bring my 360.

That, I've recently been swallowed up by the foul beast that is Street Fighet IV. I'm hadouken'ing the hell out of everything in my sight and I have been for the past few days, haha. I plan on getting Live soon and trying to get over this whole "Suck" phase I'm in.

Ah, Street Fighter 4. Seeing as I sold my 360 a while back, I'm holding out for the eventual PC port of that.

I remember kicking so much ass in Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Capcom vs. SNK 2 with Dan. Once I learned that he was in SF4, I cried silent tears of joy as a ray of light broke through the clouds above and shone brightly on me.

I'm not gonna lie, I absolutely abhor Dan. I apologize, but everything from his personality to his fighting style just makes me wanna break my controller.

I play Ryu...I'm not afraid to be a shoto.

That's exactly why I use him. His mannerisms throw off a lot of people, and then I just charge in and hit them with a Level 3 Super (in SFA3 and CvS2, anyways) just as easily as I could with Ryu or Ken.

Nothing is more unnerving to a guy who acts tough at the arcade than getting the crap kicked out of you by a guy in a pink gi.
