With the first round of the Cell going on and the LCC semi finals, it’s easy to forget some of the great things going on in the Althanas regions. Hence, another Althanas teaser.

Vainta is under attack from a group of dwarves. As Zieg dil’Tulfried and the Demon Army hold off the invading force as best as they could, Kaza Tulfried is seeking to escape the city in this thread (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?p=25265#post25265). This is an open thread, one that does not yet have a response. Who is it that will come to the aid of Haidia in its time of need? Pay attention to this thread to find out!

Tears rolled down the young boy's face as he rode atop the large Magim Beast. Kaza Tulfried had just left his father's side as he valiently defended their home from the vile dwarves. Glancing down between the strokes of Xeppa's leathery wings, he saw small flames of the torches of the dwarves, as well as the massive trebuchets. Xeppa was doing an excellent job avoiding the eye of the dwarves as he flew over. Kaza wiped his eyes and tried to focus on the task at hand.

Don't worry, Kaz. You will see your father again. Zieg's very strong, very determined. Keeping you safe and waiting for him is all the motivation your father needs to stay alive. Xeppa curled his wings tight around Kaza as he tucked into a dive to gain speed. Kaza caught glimpses of the dwarven force as they fell. It extended much further into the wilderness than anyone ever thought.

The dwarven force disappeared in the distance as Kaza and Xeppa made their way toward Vla'toros. Zieg had given them specific instructions to go to Vla'toros and tell Dera what was going on. The seven-year-old knew that when his father gave him an order, he really needed to do it. He was quite knowledgable for a seven-year-old, but he credited that to the power of Destiny. However, that power had waned in the recent months, now all he had was his own magic and a bit of Destiny's power.

He clenched his hands tight around Xeppa's neck, closing his eyes. Xeppa pressed onward, following the road toward the underground city. They covered the ground very quickly, and in just under an hour, found themselves at Vla'toros. Xeppa landed in front of the massive iron gate that led down to Vla'toros. Kaza pounded on the door with all his might, hoping that someone was there to hear his knock.

The door opened almost immediately, and a one-eyed demon glared out at him. "Why have you come to Vla'toros, child?" Seeing Kaza's tear streaked face, forced the man to open the door fully, stepping out to check on him. "What is wrong, boy?"

"I need to speak to Dera," the platinum haired child demanded. The demon looked at him inquisitively before leading him down into the town.

The underground town was a work of art. The buildings were tightly packed inside the small cave, built into the walls and ceiling. Most were short and concise, however, there was one building that was exquisite and magnificent. Full of elven architecture, the building was rounded and ornate. Kaza sprinted to the large front door, pushing it open and running inside. He found Dera sitting in a large room with a book in his lap.

"Uncle Dera! Vainta is under attack!"
