The Rebirth
“Ahh, ahh, aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!”
Faintly, patients of the St. Peters Hospital can hear the screams of Anne Anson and her newborn son, Renwick Anson. Well, soon to be newborn child. It seems that Renny is having trouble getting out. All other rooms were occupied, so the staff took her and Mr. Anson to an empty room, Room 666.
“Push, Mrs. Anson, pu-”
“Shut the fuck up!” she screamed with much anxiety. “Don’t you see I’m trying, dammit!?”
“It’ll be okay, honey, you’ll get through this," her husband whispered in her ear.
Yes, Room 666 was filled with much tension, but finally, the doctor saw a hand. Maybe the relief would quiet the room down a bit. The doctor was about to tell the world in excitement- or at least Room 666- but then he stopped in his tracks. Right after the hand, he saw a full set of hair. He waited a little, and then he slightly saw traces of what looked like an arm. Was he seeing things, through all that stress? Hand, hair, arm…how could that be?
After awhile of screaming and pushing, the Doctor was almost able to pull it out. He still hasn’t seen anything since the arm, so he couldn’t expect what was coming to him. He pulled the baby right out.
“Oh my lord…” the Doctor muttered, stunned. In fact, all the people in the room most have been totally amazed, or aghast, of what they were seeing. In the doctor’s hands was a baby with a full set of beautiful white hair, under it two dark red catlike eyes. The baby was completely soaked in blood, and there were extra body parts on the boy, such as a scaled tail, wings with no flesh, and an extra arm… growing out of his head.
The silence was broken however, with a loud shriek from the mother. But it was short lived, because a couple of seconds later her head flew off, followed by a very high-pitched, deafening noise that could shatter an eardrum. The room’s guests shut their ears, but still couldn’t escape from the horror. Blood spewed everywhere; limbs flew around like fireworks; something invisible was slashing through bodies. The doctor, father, and nurses were all dead in a matter of seconds, blood stained everywhere. Two new doctors stepped in, with horrified looks on their faces. There was Ren, laying between his decapitated mothers legs, sleeping and sucking his thumb.
Meanwhile, unaware that her step-mother and father lay brutally murdered on a floor, four year old Noelle was sitting on a lobby bench, humming one of her favorite tunes to herself.
______________________________
Ren comes from a distant land, a very religious one. His homeland is heavily influenced by Christian belief, so almost everyone enforced their beliefs and values. Ren, however, did not.
After the brutal murder of his parents, villagers planned to crucify the baby, but instead left the baby to die in an abandoned shack outside of the village. But a priest form the village, the same one who took custody of Noelle, in fact, rescued Ren from his fate and took him into his care. The villagers were enraged. The names they’d call, not only the baby, but the priest as well. “This is an act against God!” they’d shout. “Why would you care for such a demon!?” Ren was dubbed Hell’s Child at the time. The family was discriminated against, and awful things were done to them. One day, Noelle came home with a bloody nose and black eye. It was time to take action. So they moved to a far off village.
A good a mount of years have passed, and Ren is now eighteen, Noelle twenty-two. Life was good, until their father, the priest, acted against the Church. The Church wanted absolute power, so they made no hesitations deciding something must be done. When Ren came home late one night, his house was dark and nobody seemed to be home. Where’s dad, he thought to himself. He quietly stepped into the living room, only to find something he never wanted to.
Noelle sitting under a table, sobbing streams in her depression. There lay the priest, bruised and beaten, lay in a puddle of his own blood, dead. The instant Ren saw this he lost control, and grotesquely morphed into his True Self. Not a very pleasant experience. So on he went, gleefully killing all that lived in the village, young and old. Everyone, except Noelle, of course
After that, Ren and Noelle decided to run away, to leave there God-crazed country behind. They were deeply in love, but that wasn’t much of a problem, seeing how they were half brother and sister. They found the first cheap, but comfortable, boat they could find, and set sail to who knows where. But thing took an unexpected route. Their boat was attacked by pirates, who took the people hostage. The boy tried to put up a fight, but it was all naught in the end. They threw the men overboard, and Ren was washed away by the tide, leaving his sister behind…
_________________________
Ren jolted up, startled, with tears in his eyes. He was on a peaceful beach, alone. Why am I on a beach, he thought. And then his sense came back to him. “Oh, Noelle!” he screamed bitterly. “You slipped right through my grasp, right when I caught you for myself.” She was gone, forever. But where was he now?
Personality -
Selfish, arrogant, malicious… Ren brings out all the evil that resides deep within men. The way he sees it is that if you’re not wealthy, beautiful, famous, smart, or without a slight trace of any meritorious trait, you’re a worthless piece of crap that just takes up space in his small world. He sometimes has exceptions, but rarely. He puts his faith into logic, and barely ever relies on instinct — instead of hurting enemies with brawn; he’ll break them with his cold words. Usually quiet, often thinking deeply to himself instead of talking out loud. Ren tends to stay away from danger, but when forced to fight, he makes it as fast as possible.
Appearance -
Under Ren’s gorgeously long, snowy-white hair, which covers most of his face, are a set of two pitch-black eyes. Dark as night, they gives off a certain glare that make people know who not to mess with. Ren has a nice build; he’s not masculine, yet still well fit, with an average height, somewhere around 5’7”. He usually maintains posture, but occasionally leans on anything lean-able. He keeps a small pendant- a present of someone dear to him- tucked away under his shirt. It’s a wooden carving of a small valentine heart, whittled to perfection from a redwood. It seems to keep Ren’s unbearable anger in check, without it, he goes on a rampage.
Skills -
Ren is skilled with a katana, and prefers the dual sword style. His way of battle is quiet and swift, ready for a silent kill. Never regrets, never hesitates. He's not the most powerful or skillful of fighters, but he's definitely decent when it comes down to getting the job done. Most of his skill, however, lies within his talent of using daggers.
Ren doesn’t have any magic abilities, but he does have one thing no one else does. His demonic power, that is. Because of his disposition, in times of extreme anger or depression, he can lose his mind, reverting to his “True Self”. It is truly monstrous sight. His eyes turn completely red, small slits running down the middle. His hair lengthens all the way down to his waist, and an arm extends out of the left side of his head. His tongue turns gray, extending farther than normal. Lastly, he grows a draconic tail and a set of skeletal wings. Ren can’t stay in this form for long, because if he does, the closer he is to death. But even though his power is limited for time, he puts it to good use. His senses and abilities are greatly enhanced, and he can call upon disastrous magic.
Raise The Dead: Ren can summon creatures that dwell in the darkness (zombies, demons, etc.) to aid him in battle. This leaves him almost completely defenseless, though, since he's exerting most of his energy into controlling his beast. At the moment, the only thing he has the power to conjure is a demon about's the size of a human that uses it's fangs and claws to attack. Faster than it is powerful.
Passive: Hell's Speed: Increases Ren's agility and reflexes.
Equipment -
-The most crucial part of Ren’s pack are his two swords, Sin & Virtue, and they have slightly different designs. Sin was made from sleek, black steel, accompanied by its black and shiny sheath, which has a sigil of what looks like a demon’s head. Badass as hell. The only thing that isn’t awesomely black on the blade is the Same, which is a dark red. The collar has a funky design, too. It’s longer than Virtue, since he uses this more for the offensive. Clicky (http://www.trueswords.com/images/prod/c/bankai_sword_sm3_540.jpg) (It’s not quite as long as this, but still longer than the Virtue) Next is Virtue. As said before, when using as dual swords, Virtue is often used for defensive needs. That’s why it’s shorter in length. It’s plain silver steel, with a blue sheath, braid, and handle. Like Sin, it has a small sigil of a religious symbol from his homeland. Click-away (http://www.shoppingwarehouse.net/images/product/5_128240.jpg)Both come with a belt, free shipping and handling. Call 301-699-0325 in the next 20 minutes for 10% off.
- Concealed are a couple of steel melee and throwing daggers, used mostly for assassination. Also concealed is a wide, iron kukri tucked away like a gun, for emergencies, of course.
- Sometimes wears a black hooded cloak.
- His wooden heart pendant
- sum slutty magsines lulz (Jk)
I have a couple of questions. Is this my character forever, or can I have a second? Also, can I make solo quests?
