Open to Someone Willing to Rescue a Girl in Need :D

Azel sniffed as she hugged her sopping wet self, trying to keep warm from the nonstop downpour of icy rain. She wore nothing but a thin rag dress, the very outfit she had been wearing earlier in the week when she had been rescued from her master's clutches.

The freezing, blind girl had no money, no escort, and no means of knowing where on earth she was headed. The only thought that ran through her head over and over was, I need to find shelter. I need to get warm...

She shivered as she felt blindly around, hoping to feel some sort of different texture than the rough bark of a tree, or anything that could offer her some place to hide for the night. Perhaps, if she was lucky, a cave or some hole in the soft earth. The poor girl was covered in mud and exhausted.

Suddenly, Azel's bare foot caught on a large fallen tree limbs. She gave a small scream as she fell, tumbling down through the mud and sliding rapidly down a descending slope. As she reached the bottom, she gave a soft sob and sat up, attempting to weakly get back to her feet.

However, a loud growling behind her quickly changed her plans. It would do her no good to try and turn to face the noise, for she wouldn't be able to see it if she had. Instead, she concentrated. From the grumbling breaths the thing took, she measured it to be a large beast, perhaps a giant cat, and no more than fifteen feet away from her.

Azel took a deep breath, frightened. "I-I mean no harm... Please, I doubt I would make a suitable dinner..." She made a desperate attempt to reason with closed ears. She took a small, hesitant step away from the thing. She could already feel the hatred radiating from it's body, and although it was a hot aura, it offered Azel no comfort from the bitter cold of the rain.

She gulped loudly. This was sure to be the end of her life...
The beast snarled again, obviously thrilled to have a meal that didn't try to run away from it. But Azel knew there was no point in trying to escape. She was trapped, and an attempt to flee would simply make her assailant all the angrier, worsening her fate.

It gave a small shift, and Azel realized it had crouched to leap. Fear stabbed at her heart, and against her will she tried to crawl away.

Giving a shrill cat-like cry, the things muscles untensed and Azel knew it pounced. Without realizing it, she screamed at the top of her lungs.

The weather was not the best nor was it the worst. The rain felt like acupuncture gone wrong. Ryu's shirt soaked through, his pants muddy and his boots muddier then a pig in paradise. With the wind blowing, his shirt ruffling and pants dirty, he decides it is time to get out of this storm. As he trys to find his way out, he stops and puts his right hand flat on a tree to help him catch his breath for a moment.

He lifts his head and sniffs some rank odor. "Eugh god what is that stench." He says as he brings his left hand up to plug his nose. Squinting his eyes he looks to the distance and sees a young gir
l ahead of him. Ryu fix's his belt which held his two blades, Red Queen and Azure Lightning. Negative and Postive blades. He notices she trips a few more paces ahead and lets a small scream out. She sat up quickly trying to stand. But something stopped her, and Ryu saw it.

A large wolf, at least one hundred-fifty pounds of pure muscle and fur standing right behind her. Eyes as red as an ocean of blood. Now Ryu is not the type to let those he see unfit to die find an early death. The rain making it hard to tell everything else, pain inducing rain from being so cold. Ryu shivers as he loosens his Red Queen and stares at the beast as best he can in this rain. Driplets running down his face and down his neck give him the chills as he swallows heavy hoping this was not some kind of scam. He smirks and tosses that thought out of mind, releaving his mind and clearing his thoughts. A clear mind can do far better then one full of thoughts.

He starts running as fast as he can towards her, swords tied to his back clanking together as he is jumping over tree roots and quickly trying not to let her die. As he gets so close the wolf pounces at her baring teeth as white as the clouds in the day sky, with claws nearly an inch at least, maybe longer. She lets out an ear piercing scream just as Ryu got within distance he draws Red Queen and brings it around to meet the wolf's chest.

The force of the hit pushes the wolf back as it lands, then drops to it's side dead. The gash on it's chest is plainly large enough to nearly kill any normal human or even animal-type human. Ryu stabds Red Qyueen into the ground and dusts his hands and offers her his hand to help her stand. "Are you ok?" He says as his eyes scan the area making note of everything trying to listen for more of those wolves. "By the way, names Ryu." He smirks as in the distance he hears the thunder roar and the lightning streak across the sky.
