Converting Old Characters

I know I can trade in an old character for half exp on this new account, but can I trade in multiple old characters for more exp on just this account?

i.e. 10,000 exp from Character 1 + 5,000 from Character 2 + 2,000 from Character 3 + 13,000 from Character 4 = 30,000. Then this 30,000 would become 15,000 exp for this account? Yes or no?

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure you can only reincarnate one.

If we could, I could eliminate Izvilvin and Luc and create a new level 9 character (or so). That might not be a problem for some, but I would understand why some people would have an issue with it. *shrug*

That's a shame... I wonder why that is?For the same reasons reincarnation rules exist.

First, it limits the transfer of IC rewards for OOC actions or decisions. Second, it maintains fairness in the site. If all veterans could return and combine all their old characters that they made a conscious decision to neglect, stop writing with, or kill off, into an uber character they would gain a significant advantage over those who only recently joined the site. Sure, you put in alot of work (especially to get 15,000 EXP), but we are an RP site too. If you restart on WoW, you start at level 1!

fair enough... only retiring one character means I lose 3,000 exp or so. That's not so bad in the big scheme of things. Is there anything I need to do with those other characters or should I just let them rot away in oblivion?

You also have to reincarnate from one character to the next before you get any EXP of that character's own onto the new character. And usually before you start actually playing said character, but I can think of two exceptions to the rule.

I'm not too picky on the rule of the reincarnation without playing the character or anything. I mean, if you are level 3 and decide to, tough luck. If you aren't level 1 yet and want to, that's fine by me. As long as you don't suddenly go from 0 to 4 or something ridiculous like that.

How many characters can we 'kill off' at one time?

1 per transfer character.

So you can kill off one, to give half of the exp/gp to the new one. If you want to kill of multiple ones and give them to multiple others, that can be done as well. If you don't have a lot of exp, then it's kinda pointless to just kill off a character and make us add and remove exp/gp, as well as remove characters, just for 100-300 exp. You can get that in a single thread if you wanted to, lol.

Yeah, like with Esmey. At every turn, things I try with her get thwarted, either I forget, or my partners die, or, something. I'm seriously thinking of giving her up and replacing her with something more interesting I've mentioned at least in part elsewhere.

But she only has 100 EXP, and no gold, so why bother with conversion?
