Appearance: When you see a Saratu, your mind would immediately jump to the image of a lizard standing on two legs. These gargantuan reptiles are lean yet muscular with elongated necks and thick tails that trail the ground behind them. Beyond this basic description, many Saratu are unique. As an adolescent Saratu develops its future occupation, it begins to form bodily adaptations necessary to be successful. Raelyn's transformation has not had a solid model and so many things have begun adapting all at once. Spikes have begun to grow from his brow back along the ridge of his head and down to between his shoulder blades. More spikes have emerged along his wrists, shoulders, knees, ankles, and nearly every other major joint.
Personality: Cautious yet inquisitive, Raelyn has a great desire to understand the strange world he finds himself thrust into. While his race is one which can adapt quickly, he has not yet been able to overcome the shock of seeing his homeland destroyed. Raelyn is friendly, loyal, and innocent; unable to understand cruelty or sarcasm with a child-like perspective on the world. Depending on the nature of his interactions with the inhabitants of Althanas, he will learn to change to fit his needs.
History: The Saratu were a peaceful race, most of them never seeing conflict or feud of any kind. Those destined to protect the village from those who would harm their way of life were seen as different and thus distanced from the rest of society. However, their sacrifice was held in high regard. With a matriarchal structure to their society, the Saratu deferred to the wisdom of the High Mother to lead their people. This female Saratu would determine what trees to harvest, which plants to grow, and just what manner of forest fauna to worship. These wishes changed just as often as the High Mother deemed appropriate and so the Saratu became used to constant change. One day, strangers arrived at the village, carrying the limp corpses of the Saratu warriors with them. Panic ensued as the High Mother decreed these men a great threat to their lifestyle. While a few Saratu may have escaped, most were enslaved by the strangers and taken to a far and distant land. Raelyn was among these slaves. However, as luck would have it, whatever transport these strangers used to take the Saratu from their ancestral home was not as secure as they would have liked. Soon after arriving in a new land, Raelyn found himself free of the restraints which had bound his arms and legs and thrust into a bizarre world. Now, unsure what has become of his family, his friends, and his very race, Raelyn journeys Althanas looking for answers.

SPECIAL ABILITIES
- Teleportation: Raelyn can teleport something from one hand to the other after five seconds of concentration. He can do this three times a day before he must sleep to 'recharge' the ability. Once a day, he can teleport something under fifty pounds into his hands from up to five feet away.
- Time Manipulation: Raelyn can cause a hiccup in time, allowing him to move very short distances (under one foot) before restoring time's natural flow. This ability has allowed him to dodge several close calls in his time on Althanas.
- Natural Armor: Raelyn's skin is the toughness of thick hide, more resistant to blunt trauma and slashing damage than that of a regular human.
ATHLETICS
- Combat: Proficient unarmed fighter, Average with throwing knives, Average with daggers.
- Stamina: Raelyn can exert himself 1.5x as long as a regular human before tiring to the point of exhaustion.
- Climbing: Raelyn can climb an easy surface 1.5x as fast as a regular human and can climb a medium surface given the proper amount of time (assuming here that a regular human cannot climb a medium surface given any amount of time)
- Jumping: Raelyn can jump 1.5x as high/far as a regular human.
