It used to be 500, 200 and then 300 in bazaar credit during your first month, but the credit was dropped, and the 200 remains.

When I registered my first character, new players got ONE hundred gold, and that was it. We had to earn the rest!

i'm curious because Silas won't make a habit of buying things, at least not till he's about... 4th-5th level?
Then he needs to pay for a research grant to reacquire/locate his Magic Staff...
That will cost more than what most people pay for weapons because it will suddenly scale EVERYTHING up (other than his actual knowledge... his spells are what level up :p)

That said he won't become proficient with using it immediately again <_<

With well-done quests, you can get a good chunk of change by the time you hit L4-5. But yeah...that sounds pretty expensive.

Although the quest for the staff needn't actually cost you anything at all.

that said, the staff will be located in another country, in a small magic proofed case, there is an interesting happenance, i need the money not to BUY it but to get the wizards to do the research and help me to cast for it's return.

Given Silas can acquire goods other ways, such as herbs in the forest, and uses no actual weapons, I think it will be his BIG spend. Following that his expenditure would be reliant on what I come up with next to invest in ;)
but still, the cost of the project would need to be within my means, and if 300 gold is what I need to start, 300 gold is what I need :/
Mind you, later on (once I get his sheet mostly finished) I ought to earn cash from potion making, but no rush yet.
