Max had spent day's walking around looking for a so called Great Library. He was starting to get pissed, he had been walking around in circles trying to find it, he was told the rough whereabouts but still couldn't find it, or the lake he was told was between the forest and the library.

He Needed to go see if it had the tome or tomes he needed, he was useless in his current state. He couldn't even kill another swordsmen in one on one combat. The man he had come to learn of Eric Angelkos, had beaten him in a fight with just pure swordsmanship. He needed to get better or get more abilities.

Max was just about to give up all hope and go find someone at the closest bar he could to fight when his foot gave way underneath him. Sending him into a trap or something covered by Underbrush.

“What the hell?” Max said as he got up to see an exit from the cavern he had fallen into, with a little cabin right beside a lake, with a small boat tied to a piece of log sticking out of the water. “This must be it!” Max exclaimed as he sped up his pace and walked out of the cave letting his augmented cape blow in the breeze, as he neared the Cabin he looked to his right and saw a huge structure embedded into the wall of a cliff, and at first glance Max would say it looked elven even though he had never seen a elven structure before.

He smiled and walked inside the cabin, there was a bed and a table with a fireplace that had long since been in use. The place was abandoned, so Max decided to use it to rest and relax before heading over to the library. He refilled a canteen of water, and got some wood from the side of the cabin and started a small fire.

Before he knew it, it was night time and as he exited the Cabin he swore he saw Shadow's and even the tree's in the black-ness of night looked creepy. He smiled and threw on his cape and climbed into the boat and started heading off towards the library in this old wooden boat, that Max could hear creak every time his weight slightly shifted in it.

By the time he was half way into the lake his boat started to take on water and he started to panic, throwing his leather boot heel over the hole to try and slow it did nothing and the water was coming in slowly, but Max knew if he didn't reach the library soon he would be swimming there. He kicked into overdrive and started paddling faster. And just before he reached the shore his boat started to take on water from over the top. He jumped out of the boat and swam the last five minutes he had.

He sighed as he looked around the walls of the Library, they seemed old dusty and worn. As well as it looked like the front door's had been broken into, or smashed upon by something in the past. He cautiously walked in and was greeted by two halls one going to his left and one going to his right. He walked down the right path, considering he was closer to it then the left. And the first door he came upon he walked into, the door was on his left, and was relatively hard to open, he had to throw his weight onto the door to make it swing ajar. Inside were shelves that were so high he couldn't see the end of them with ladders on each one, spanning the room which would have to have been a good sixty to seventy feet high. Every twenty to thirty feet there was a balcony which looked like to hold another level of book's all around the cylindrical room.

MetalDrago, Paladin of N'Jal, had plans for the world at large. He planned to eventually launch a campaign in Salvar to topple the Church of the Ethereal Sway. He saw the Church as an enemy to the Order of N'Jal, which he was particularly protective of, and as a direct result wanted Denebriel's head lying on the ground before him. He sighed and he continued to walk through the forest. The dappled light of the dusk continued to filter through the trees, illuminating the path enough for sight. The two Forsaken following had heir cowls up, obscuring their faces from sight. One of them had a scaled hand wrapped tightly around a leather-wrapped handle, the other far more relaxed. The first Forsaken was one of the Dragonian Paladin's 'children', reborn as a servant of N'Jal in his master's image. As one of the Paladin's devoted bodyguards, he was loyal to his master to a fault. No noise went unnoticed to his ears, and no person seen as a threat made it to his master without a direct order from him.

An echoing sound from just ahead signaled to the group that they had found what they were searching for. The ground beneath them felt soft and malleable to their bare feet. MetalDrago motioned with one hand for the relaxed one to go down into the cavern to scout for potential threats. As the Forsaken crawled into the cavern, the Paladin scowled. The break in the ground looked fresh. Someone had been here shortly before, within the last few hours, by all appearances. Whoever it had been had not been careful, and had fallen into the cavern without knowing it was there. This is not good. He thought to himself.

The Forsaken below climbed back out and nodded his head, telling his master all was clear. Whoever had been down there was there no longer. The Paladin nodded in return and motioned for the scout to take his place behind him once again before climbing in on his own. As he did so, he smelt the odor of a dying fire. So, it was true... Someone had been there before. There was a cabin on one side of a lake, and the Paladin could only guess the acrid smell had come from there. Who puts a cabin underground, anyway?

Night had now fallen, and the light from the moon was evident pouring through the holes in the ceiling of this grand cavern. There was an underground lake between them and their target, the library in which the book they were seeking had been kept. MetalDrago knew the direct route was out of the question. If there had been a boat there, it would have long since become unusable, and the last person through had likely taken it anyway. In the dim light, the Dragonian's orchid eyes beheld a path leading around the lake, likely an auxiliary path for if one was hydrophobic or unable to use the boat. There was an iron gate with a keyhole in it, denying anyone access who did not hold the key. However, even with the key, the thing had long since become so rusted it probably wouldn't budge one way or another.

The Forsaken took action on the gate, using their iron grips to pull the hinges off, letting the gate fall down before them before their master walked through, his cloak billowing slightly in the breeze. The crimson scales covering his face reflected the light of the moon that spilled through on the path. He had to hand it to those who built the library, they knew how to keep themselves well-lit by the natural elements. No matter what time of the day it was plenty of natural light would be able to pour through the holes above. As he continued forward, he looked around the lake at the library. It was of obvious Elven design, though of what caliber he was uncertain. He'd be able to tell as he got closer.

As they approached from the other side of the lake, MetalDrago couldn't help but wonder who it was who had come before them, and what he or she hoped to find down here.

Max was filled with joy as he looked over the books on the main level, majority of them were all history books, or books about different races. even a race that was part human part cat, or from what Max could tell from the pictures, he did not know the language it was written in.

it was furry like a cat, with a tail and ears. but walked on two legs with the skeletal structure of a human. He chuckled as he put the book back and walked to the centre of the room where the column went straight up, with shelves every 3 feet up filled with books. there was Several places where books were on the ground, most likely thrown down when the last raid or person was here.

as he climbed up the ladder resting against the column he noticed that at about the level where the balcony started was where, it appeared to change subject. from history/races to Different factions and groups and the people there in, and theyre abilities.

He grabbed a book with the least amount of dust on it and opened it up, and it was written i n common. the front page clearly said, the Order of the N'Jal, it then listed all the key members, and listed how many followers each had. near the end of the book he saw a dragonian man, or what Max assumed to be a man. he then put the book away in the opening in his cloak. and jumped from the ladder over the balcony railing and slipped on a pile of books. he let out a yelp of surprise as he hit the ground with a loud 'thud'.

He held his head for a bit as he slowly got back up and looked at the books lining the wall. and many of them followed the same subject as the column, it was all about Different factions and groups and the people there in. He chuckled as he continued to walk around. the organization system of this library was grand, and it would be even grander if he had a form of a index or knew what each level was.

Max found a staircase up to another level in the wall of the second story. he started to walk up as he wondered why a place so well hidden, would have nobody trying to do what he is doing, and 'burrow' books of interest.
