RRRRRRRRRRRRomance, ladies?

So, after my last thread was just kinda dropped, this character went into hiding. I'm sure none of you recognize him, but here he is! *crickets*

So, I was looking for a few people to do a thread with, one of which definitely has to be a female willing to fall in love with an angel. I am willing to do this quest with up to four people, so aside from Normandy and the female, two others can join. The gender and race of the two matter not.

I have a plot in mind, so there would actually be a method to all of my madness. See, Normandy was sent to the mortal plain from his own immortal plain of life by a demon (that now owns him). But, that doesn't really matter much. See, as he was sent to the mortal world, he lost his wings along the way. His wings were the only things that linked him between the mortal and immortal worlds, so now that left him stuck in the mortal world.

Now, he is searching for clues and hints as to how to earn his wings back, but so far has hit only dead ends. What he doesn't know is that the only way to get them back is to fall in love. See where this is leading? He is going to be torn between staying with his love or going back to his own realm.

It would be most romantic if this thread were just between the girl and Normandy; however, i also want some action and drama in this thread to make it more interesting, hence where the other one or two characters come in. They can play any roles they like (Comic relief, jealous girl, villain, sidekick, pet, etc.) so the parts are open to nearly any character in Althanas. These roles would be good for characters who can't find many roleplays because of certain restrictions about them.

Post and let me know what you think. I won't immediately pick the first three offers i get, so if anyone at all is interested go ahead and reply. I will choose from all of the offers based on what characters i think would make the thread the most interesting.

Sounds interesting idea, but getting the right kind of chemistry between the 2 characters to make the thread beleivable would require a degree of skill.
One thought goes out suggesting he doesn't NEED to do this thread right now, his first beginning, sometimes it's better to jump for another chance where your character fits.

I have a quest idea i'll advertise for some day but it certainly won't be appropriate right now <_<.

Anyway best of luck, Silas would be a bad choice for this one, he'd be in constant conflict with you :p not as an enemy, rather as one who argues about what you actually represent to the world.
To put it bluntly, maybe someday but not this one for me sorry :p

Falling in love is actually one of my goals for my character, but I'm afraid I'm already to busy with 2 other threads :(. Other then that I would just love to get married to an actual non-npc character at one point, though the marriage doesn't have to last longer then a couple of days as far as I'm concerned ;). But I guess some romantic practise can't hurt. Also, I refuse to read/write adult stuff.

So basically: hell yeah, I'm interested! I actually think our characters would be quite a match as well, Kerrigan could surely fall in love with your char. But unless you want to postpone the thread until I've got more time I'm afraid I've missed one heck of an opportunity.

question: the getting his wings back thing.. does it require that his love be returned? As in the Disney movie "Beauty and the Beast" in which it wasn't enough that Beast loved Belle, she had to love him back in order to break the spell?

I have two possible female characters that I could put in this.

Cassandra - currently single, but not by choice. her boyfriend disappeared into the Salvar mountains to avenge his race, and has yet to return to her. Thus far, it appears to everyone else that he died in the mountains, but Cassy still hopes for his return. She's an adequate fighter and is a generally sweet and caring girl.

Jessica - mage in training (sort of) she has a magic book that she's studying from, but has no official training. She is young, only 19, and is definitely not very handy with a weapon. All she's got is a knife, with which she can defend herself on an average level. She would be very apt to fall in love... with either guy ;)


Oh and I'm all for the double romance idea. I think it'd be great!

To answer Jessi's question, I... don't know. I never considered if the girl had to love him back. What does everyone think would be better? I know normally I would say it would make for a better story if she had to love him back, but he is already going to be extremely hesitant to fall for her for certain reasons of his own (Which causes a twist, though I never put it in my earlier post to keep at least a little dramatic, unexpected flair for the story) so I don't think that loving him back is really needed.

And as for Kerrigan - The thread won't be right off the bat, for I am in the same predicament as you T_T. I'm in about 5 different RP's on my other two accounts, so this one won't be started right away. I was just posting it now to see who all was interested and if there was anything that I should think about before it gets started

you could always teach her, Max. though she is intended to rely primarily on her spells than steel.

I would like very much for something to put Jessi in. i haven't seen much that I really like until this. I don't have a lot of RPs going, i just have school 3 nights a week right now. So my pace would be 1-2 posts a week if that isn't a problem.

If she doesn't necessarily have to love him back, then Cassy is an option. Otherwise, Jessi would work (and would be my preference anyway)

Well i always wanted max to find love lol, the 50 post thread i had in the Peaceful Promenade showed me a direction i wanted, but not with that person lol.

so yeah, Calbrena and max would be very interesting lol. we could do this thread any time, or we can start and go, with who is active at the moment

From there it'll be easier to make a thread revolving around getting closer, despite some hardships I'll PM you about.
