I declare war on thee! (Open challenge)

Greetings all. Its time to kick this game up a few levels and intensify the challenge level. In light of all of my recent battle threads I've decided to declare an open challenge on Althanas. That's right. YOU. For those of you who know me know that my character, Lorenor is Lawful Evil, and thusly one of Althanas' prime villains. What I am looking for is people who are willing to go toe to toe against Lorenor in a battle setting, usually to the death. I am not really a fan of the Citadel and tend to do fighting outside of the Citadel's comfort zone. However, for this project I am willing to fight in The Citadel and take on all comers. I am trying to jump to level 10 this year at some point which is why I've largely increased my activity level. I was once famous in this site, its time to recapture that glory. So come one come all. I want to do a series of interconnected stories that take place during the missing years of Lorenor's life, mainly from the age of about 27-40. I am trying to fill in the gap.

The stories take place in the year C.P. 1825 which is the very near future.

The story is called the Battle Scrolls. And the premise is simple: Lorenor is training for the Second Age of Darkness to become a much more skilled melee warrior. He will fight any and everyone, of any level, that will be willing to fight him. If a thread is taken up, I will start a new thread to keep the process going. My general goal is to start up a massive multi-user storyline where as many people (Especially you lowbies lurking in the shadows) as possible become involved in a true community setting. There will be all sorts of good times to be had.

I can power post a few posts a day. I want to complete several of these a month and help level myself up, as well as other people quickly. So that's it Althanas. The battle is on.

As he grows in strength, Lorenor is obviously going to attract a little more active attention from his enemies, right? Perhaps the Knights of Dawn (that's your main foe, correct?) hire a capable mercenary like Teric to attempt an assassination?

It would lend a little story to what would otherwise be a simple battle, and give it a good reason to be outside the Citadel.

If something along those lines sounds good to you, I'm game.

@Teric-I believe that we fought once before? I could be wrong though, I think it was a in the Dajas Pagoda or something. In any event you're a solid rper, I would love to set something up with you. And yeah, the Knights of Dawn are -currently- Lorenor's primary enemy. I am trying to set up a multi-user storyline. So that could change in the very near future. And yeah an assassination attempt from Teric could work with my storyline just as well. Just hit me up with a PM and we will work something out.

Right now it's just a matter of taking pre-existing systems, and merging them into one. I'm lucky in this, because of their nature, they are easy to merge. I'm going to try and avoid an Ultima-like Virtue system though.

But then, combining the Seven Heavenly Virtues, The Knightly Virtues, Bushido, and The Eight Virtues into a single code of conduct should be easy. Several of them even overlap!

Hey dude, don't feel the heebiejeebies just because you're a level 0. I believe in a good rping and good fun to be had by all. I will definitely fight you anytime anyplace. Basically I am waiting to have my character's new sword constructed and we're good to go. Once I have that sword I will im you and we can start a new thread. :) I am looking forward to rping with someone I've never rped with before, or at least I assume I've never rped with you ;) .
