ame: Rath al'Perrin Stahltann - His last name means "Heart Fang" or "Steel Fang", depending on your region. al'Perrin means "Son of Perrin". People call him by either his first or middle name, depending on how well they know him, if he does not know you, he will only reveal his middle and Surname, his father's name: Perrin Stahltann.

Age: 56 - his breed has him looking 23-26, depending on how long it has been since he has shaved.

Eyes: Golden amber wolf eyes. The eyes seem to emit their own light when it is dark, and reflect torch or hearth light when around said sources. Because of his eyes, Rath will keep his eyes cast down to avoid scaring anyone or calling un-needed attention to himself.

Hair: Rath's hair is long, shaggy, and black as oil. He keeps his hair out of his face using a braided leather cord around his brow. He will have his hair in a ponytail when he knows he will be in combat to keep it out of his eyes as best as he can. His hair falls down to his shoulder blades. He has a stubble on his face with a thicker patch of thicker facial hair in his chin. His left eyebrow is broken by a scar.

Physical Description: Rath is tall, very tall for a wulven as young as he, with very broad shoulders and a thick musculature. He stands around 6 feet and 8 and a half inches tall. Rath is virtually a perfect physical specimen due to his time in the smithy and, of course, his time in the wild. Rath weighs in on the high end of the 200 pound range in muscle weight. Rath has a scar across his left cheek, from a blade. On his chest, a few pairs of claw scars, on his arms, he has blade and bite marks, on on his back he has a collection of whip and claw marks.

He also has an extraordinary pair of canine teeth

Appearance/Clothing: Rath wears simple clothing, nothing that stands out. Around his head, Rath wears a sleeveless wool shirt with a deep V-cut collar that stops halfway down his chest. Over that, he wears a fur-lined leather vest, having grown up in the colder regions of the West. Rath is usually wearing a pair of dark breeches, usually a dark brown or black color, and shin high, steel toed boots. Over his shoulders, Rath drapes a dark, well worn, moth-eathen crimson cloak. A leather belt crosses his chest and holds his sword in place and to stow his buckler, matching belts criss-cross his hips holding a flask, a money-purse, a bag of herbs, and of course, his trusty and deadly half-moon axe. On his arms, he wears leather braces backed with steel from him da's forge.

Before changing forms, Rath must remove all clothing unless he wishes to buy a whole new set of clothing. Sometimes, this can be an issue of finding his clothes afterwards. Need I explain further?

Weapons: Rath most commonly uses his trusty half-moon axe in either on hand with his wooden buckler or in two hands, depending on the enemy he is fighting. Rath is well trained with this weapon, having inherited it from his da when he died of dysentery. The weapon is heavy, but Rath's time with longbow, hammer, pulling the plow when the horse was sick, and endless practice has allowed him to make the axe an extension of his arm, a very heavy and lethal extension. The axe is named Steel Fang, the name the wolves gave him.
The wooden buckler is about as big around as a cart wheel, an iron band covering the sides to block better.
Rath's other handy weapon is his six foot broad blade claymore. The weapon is immensely heavier and requires two hands. The sword, as well as the axe, is made of master crafted steel from his father's hands and forge, making the blades more durable than average steel. This steel is of excellent quality.. The axe has been blessed, or cursed, depending on your beliefs, with KinBlood. This pact makes a vengeful wolf spirit become trapped in the blade. The spirit feeds on the anger of Rath as well as instruct him to change and kill and do other things that his brother would have done.
Rath will never sell his weapons, no matter what. They are all that remains of his family as it was. He is bound ot them.

Faimiliar: The Local wolf pack, though he has a young wolf that sticks with him at all times, Hopper is the wolf's name

Unique Possessions: Rath carries very little in the way of trinkets, but he has a simple golden ring on a leather band around his neck.

Home: Home... well, Rath hasn't had a permanent one of those since he was a little boy. His village, or whatever is left of it, is an empty ghost town, nothing but bad memories and old bloodstains. Rath will refuse to go near the village unless some really, really, REALLY pretty lass said she would give him a dance and a kiss in return. Now, he lives in the wilderness, roaming from place to place, avoiding man and beast alike. He knows being around wolves will encourage his inner Beast to come out, and he would rather get switched a hundred times than let that happen. It is because of that Beast he fears his "home" so much.

Mother: Egwene. She is beautiful. Her golden eyes abd brown hair, seemingly ageless face. Despite the rocky road the family has taken, she still loves her son, no matter what he is. They are family and species after all. Mother of six once, now mother of two, but she only acknowledges one, Rath.

Father: Perrin was the best father a simple family could ask for as a provider. He taught his youngest and most able son, Rath, to be a provider as well, beginning with fighting and smithing. Perrin was a soldier in his past life, before he met Egwene. He passed all he knew to Rath, much to the chagrin of the elder siblings. Perrin died of dysentery disease, a slow and horrid death that left the family, mostly the male siblings, in a civil "war". Perrin was the elder version of his son, all except for his eyes.

Siblings: Rath had five of them, three bothers and two sisters. All of them dead except for his eldest brother, Kaine. After their father died from dysentery, Kaine tried to take the mantle that Perrin rightfully left to Rath and his second eldest brother, Aybill. Kaine, still having some of the wolven blood in him, gave into blind rage and greed, killing Aybill and doing horrid things to his sisters. Rath and his mother where shocked. Rath fought Kaine, wounding him, but not able to kill him... they where still brothers.

Likes: Nature, dancing with a pretty lass, sparring, fighting, wolves, pretty and nice lasses, his mother, elves, gambling

Dislikes: poachers, slavers, Kaine, his cursed Wolven temper, polititians, nobles, posh people, cheaters, cruel people, unfaithful women, wizards, magic, savage men

Personality: Rath, despite his name, is a kind and compassionate person inside. Though his demeanor is rough and cold as the mountains, he has a warm side as well as a fiery temper when prodded to that point. Being wolven in nature, he is driven by emotion and the need to be part of a group. He is alone now, and it makes him somber and cold. When with a pack or a table of drinking buddies, Rath warms immensely. When on the field of battle, his name summarizes him pretty well, a Wrath of steel and heart-filled passion. He may seem slow, thus taken for a simpleton, but Rath is constantly thinking things through as well as controlling or restraining himself. He is as strong as his brother Seth and as smart as Kaine, but he has a hard time controlling his strength around others.

Goals: To hunt and kill Kaine at long last, to control his Bestial side, to be part of a pack, to start a family, to survive

Family History: Perrin and Egwene met when Perrin was still a soldier. He had been a Captain-Lieutenant until he met her and resigned when he heard she was pregnant with their first boy, Kaine. Perrin took up the life of a smith, using his skills as a personal armorer and weapon smith from his soldiering days to make a living. Egwene and Perrin had another son, Aybill. The family grew as did the signs of Wolven blood in them. Seth and Nynaeve showed the most predominant signs before Rath was born. Perrin knew Rath was special when he saw the boy's eyes, burning like a furnace. Perrin trained his son in the ways of a soldier and a commoner, planning to equip his son for whatever came in life. It did nothing for what was about to come.

Perrin died of dysenitary, leaving Kaine, Aybill, Seth, and Rath to decide who got their father's mantle. Seth was a good boy, strong as an ox, but dumb as a rock. Kaine was smart and strong, but was too angry all the time. Perrin left the mantle to Aybill and Rath, his most prized sons. Kaine was bitter, believing that he should have Perrin's right to head of the house. He ended up killing Aybill and Seth, as well as doing aweful, incestuous and murderous things to his sisters. When he came to kill Egwene, Rath stood in the way with his father's half-moon axe. Kaine and Rath faught until Kaine was wounded, forcing him to flee. Egwene, Rath's mother, no longer acknowledges Kaine as part of the family. She taught her son herbs and medicine, as well as his Wolven nature.

Personal History: After his failure to kill Kaine the first time, Rath swore on the graves and honor of his father and siblings that he would hunt and kill Kaine. Rath was so engulfed in anger, his Wolven side, his Beast, overtook him one night, leading him to do things that he still shivers and wretches to think of. It was Rath that killed his village in his blind rage. Though his mother was shamed and saddened by his actions, she knows how the Call of the Beast is tempting, most of all when one is angry or sorrowful. Rath exiled himself into the wilderness to escape painful memories and hopefully learn to control his nature better. Rath has come to hate most of humanity for their shunning of him because of his eyes. They call him horrid things and try to lock him up in a cage or chain him to a wall.

Recent Events: Rath is currently searching for Kaine as well as avoiding human guardsmen. He is wanted for killing a great number of the king's huntsmen. They had been killing and skinning wolves. Rath is also looking for balance. Since Kaine killed Aybill, his life has been that of constant turmoil and anger and hate. He needs light to balance the dark.

Hi there. I'll be helping you along through your profile so you can approved ASAP. First off, your Wolf abilities are a bit too vague; Wolf Dreams will have to be limited to once per thread, and your Wolven senses will have to be noted that they can be fooled or he could be sensing the intent of almost any character on Althanas. Please note the range of the senses, how far they extend to. For regeneration, please state how much faster than a normal person: 1.5x should be good for level 0. If you are confused as to what that means, it just means that while he heals faster, it would not be obviously superhuman. As for his wolven strength, being able to "lift and toss a man easily" seems a bit too strong for my tastes, especially with his other abilities. I'll allow up to 1.5x strength for level 0, but not able to break limbs with his fists and such.
Please also clarify these abilities:
Average swordsmanship and axemanship, correct?
Blacksmithing; I'll need a skill level in that as well. How well trained is he?
Average bowman?
And I'll have to ask you to get rid of the change into the full wolf form, just at this point. Either that, or put some of your wolven abilities into that form instead so when you change into it they are activated. Note, however, you'll have a time limit upon them then. If you wish to keep them at level 0, you can always quest for the shape change.
Now, one more thing and you should be all set. Your weapons cannot be "near indestructable" at start; you can have them be average-quality steel, however, and upgrade them at the Bazaar or the quest to stronger steel. Plus, we have several metals you may have interest in.
Once you have made those changes please post here and I will look over your profile again.

i edited. I made him able to break bone as long as he hits the proper joint the wrong way. It is easily possible for an average man to do that.

That's fine as long as you don't powergame it. I see that you left the "master quality steel" there; if you insist upon keeping it, please note then that you cannot sell either weapons. As for your blacksmith training, he'll be able to forge and refine metal weapons to above average quality at this point with a moderate amount of success. For Feral leap, please state the amount of distance he can travel; "great distances" is too vague.

Please keep in mind that despite his bone structure, he is not superhuman; even though he can jump 18 feet, he must also suffer the landing. With that in mind, this profile is approved.
