Dacheran

Name: Dacheran Zvart
Age: 20
Race: Human (?)
Hair Color: Silver/White
Eye Color: Grey/Brown
Height: 6’2
Weight: 185
Occupation: Merchant’s Heir
Personality: Calm, polite. He’s a bit naïve, but he’s sharp enough to keep him from being that terribly gullible.
Appearance: Lean and athletically built, with defined muscletone that doesn’t leave him bulky, and fine facial features that almost broach on being effeminate. His hair tends to shimmer in the light, and it can give him an altogether unearthly appearance at times.
History: To be detailed in his first quest, to have mercy on people just here for the info I’ll summarize: He was almost stillborn, but something odd happened involving his father as he was being birthed upon the night of the full moon. His parents, being a retired rich merchant couple, paid to have him tutored in various arts and languages, and he was tutored lightly in various self defense and weapons techniques should the need arise also, as he would inherit their business.
He grew up being slightly ostracized by the other children, as there was always something strange about him beyond just his hair color. He was naturally gifted at most things he attempted, and the other boys especially slightly resented that. When it eventually falls into question that he seems altogether not normal, he leaves home to find out exactly what he is for himself.
Skills:
Cockroach- Damage does not seem to last on him, which is one reason why he fell under suspicion in the first place. It doesn’t happen incredibly quickly, but he seems to heal quicker and more thoroughly than normal. (Once he “fell” down a crag and twisted his ankle. He was well enough to climb back up within a couple days.) He doesn’t know it, but it would take excessive force to permanently kill him, if no more than normal to functionally do so.
Peak Performance- Naturally athletic, he has exceptional control over his own body and good strength, within human standard. He would have a running five minute mile, and only be lightly winded afterwards. Upon that, he seems to be slightly more resistant to physical ailments than most people, but just slightly. His reflexes and agility are both above average. (Meaning his reaction time is probably half again as fast as most peoples.)
Tongues- Being the son of a traveling merchant, he’s had some base exposure to a large number of different spoken and written languages, though he’s only fluent in a few and is most comfortable in Tradespeak from lack of wide exposure to even the one’s he’s good at. Communication shouldn’t be a problem for most peoples he comes in contact with.
Combat- He’s been taught the fundamentals of most common types of weaponry, including archery and swordsmanship, but only really has a passing knowledge of their practical use. He could probably hold his own against a mildly skilled swordsman if given a quarterstaff however, and his natural kinesiology makes him fairly slippery in general, not to mention in a grapple or brawl (which isn’t to say he’d win one either, but he’d be hard to hold down.)
Learned- He’s had many tutors growing up, and thus been exposed to things like cultures, arts, geography, mathematics and some basic sciences. Added to that, he’s naturally fairly sharp and a quick learner. However, he’s not seen any of it in direct application, aside from once when he took apart one of his father’s clocks when he was nine. He’d gotten in trouble over that. And he didn’t learn much from it, so it probably doesn’t count.
Equipment: Wooden staff, equivalent to hardwood oak. The clothes on his back and a spare. A short steel knife, and a slightly longer steel dagger. He is currently wearing a plain white shirt, though of fine quality, with a short cape, broad brimmed black hat, and faded black pants tucked into fine leather boots.
((At the same time he feels potentially overpowered and annoyingly weak compared to where I plan to develope him. Sigh.))
