Well, luckily, I saw it when I went to go see X-Men Origins: Wolverine over the weekend. I'm extremely excited...

Especially for Megan Fox. ::drool:: She looked amazing in that trailer. :o

Meh, I prefer my trailers not to show too much of the actual story that could give anything away. But just enough to keep you interested.

Also, I absolutely loved transformers, I'd rate the animated movie as one of my most formative experiences as a child, but I was underwhelmed with Transformers I. I still watched it, because of my love for Transformers, but I'm not sure if I can deal with Michael Bay butchering my childhood memories again.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the second one, from what I know. I may be more forgiving than most when it comes to the series, though.

There will be no avoiding the stupid human humor and crap like that, but I think a lot of things that were wrong with the first one will be fixed in the second.

You may be right, but I can't think of a Michael Bay movie I liked. I'm going to keep an open mind on it, but unless I hear rave reviews, I'm going to wait for video on this one.

How was it?

Eh, about a 7/10 for me. It tried too hard. The beginning and some of the middle was good and kept me entertained, then towards the end everything started to fall apart and I kept thinking to myself, WTF...are you kidding me? I guess, all-in-all I could say it's serviceable.

Good enough to watch just to get the movie's canon, but not enough for multiple viewings.

P.S. Oh, and don't even get me started on Gambit... I don't think they even gave him justice. Horrible actor for the part, and he didn't even have a cajun accent. I was so pissed.

I really love Tim Riggins on Friday Night Lights, but Taylor Kitsch never struck me as a good idea for Gambit. Actually, I couldn't help but wonder if he would have made a better Deadpool, especially since this movie is taking place back when Deadpool was more somber.

Heh, be prepared for this movie to disappoint in the Deadpool department too, then. XD

Ryan Reynolds performed admirably, but the disappointment was the fact that he had too few lines. If you could push aside his final appearance... Honestly? They should've made this movie about him... then it would've been great.
